  1. Yeah, but with Yaxley too!

Oh Yes! As a matter of fact the 3 minifigs I would like the most are Yaxley, Dolohov and Shacklebolt. But I suppose that isn't too relevant to the thread. Does anyone know how much 4867 Hogwarts will be in the UK?

  2. Hi,

My Dad is the Ceo of a loss adjusting company and yesterday (saturday by australian time) and on our way to a friends house he had to stop over at a site to talk with one of his employee's anyway, the site was owned a bloke who works lego, as he told my dad, and when my dad told me i ran in to ask him if there would be any more potter sets after the game, his response was "The theme is not dead yet"

I don't know wether he meant the three upcoming sets, but I did specify after the game. When I tried to clarify he said he wasn't allowed to say anything. So to me it sounds like there must be more coming!

Thanks tj19941994! I really hope the theme is continued, I was so sad after 2007 when I thought there were to be no more HP sets. I just don't think I could go through it all again! Here's hoping for a Ministry of Magic set and a Kingsley Shacklebolt!

  3. Amazon UK have all three of the new Harry Potter sets available foe pre-order with an expected shipping date of 15th June 2011, the prices are as follows :classic: :

    4865 Forbidden Forest £10.49

    4866 Knight Bus £35.99

    4867 Battle of Hogwarts £49.99

    ~buddy~

Thanks buddy, but does anyone else think the sets are too expensive in the UK compared to the US? According to brickipedia (I know it isn't the most reliable source) the knight bus will cost $34.99 so, according to the current exchange rate, it should be £21.36 in the UK. Why then is it £35.99? It's a similar story with the other sets too. Any ideas?

  4. Hey everyone! I was just thinking about the whole absence of Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff references, I was just thinking it would be great if Lego put something to do with Hufflepuff in one of the rocky bottom sections. After all they included Prof. Sprout (head of Hufflepuff) and the Hufflepuff common room is below the ground floor in the books. The only thing is that the bottom sections are small and Lego tends to focus on the films rather than the books (the only exeption I can think of was when there was a flute included in the Fluffy set).

As for Ravenclaw, it would be great if they made the tower with the globe Ravenclaw tower, changing the beds to blue and grey would help obviously. Then I think the Mirror of Erised could be moved to the empty room and the crystal ball and tables moved to where the mirror was. This would leave the roof space clear for a statue of Rowena Ravenclaw for example and "hey presto!" Ravenclaw tower!

They're my views anyway, what do you think?

  5. That would be awsome! And in that dungeon a killed version of the basilisk, almost rotten away :p.

But does someone know if there is a Nagini in this set or is it that stupid little snake..?

I doubt we will get any more than that on the Nagini front, it's basically a worm! The rest of the set compensates though.

  6. The interior of the B of H looks great, it would be nice if the philosophers stone is behind the mirror of erised, I'm glad there is a classroom/office and a bedroom as there weren't those rooms in the fourth hogwarts. The bridge action looks alright but I think it would have been fine if left alone. Does anyone else think it's unfinished? I mean the crystal ball room looks really lacking and as maximumlego suggested it would be really cool to have Rowena Ravenclaw's statue in the room with paintings, also the bottoms of each tower could do with a skeleton perhaps, like a dungeon, and a Chamber of secrets reference would not go amiss. But even if it is finished i will get it, it would be fun to spice up the rooms myself!

By the way thanks for the pictures everyone!

  7. I've noticed something. Only two of the sets say they're going to be released in June; the Knight Bus & the Battle for Hogwarts. The Forest set isn't out till August, if it's to be believed.

I saw that too, I am hoping it's a typo otherwise I'll probably cry!

This might be a bit off topic but is there any live coverage of toy fair on flickr or elsewhere? I heard there might be some from fbtb.

  8. Hey y'all, Nice pics guys! The Forest is such good value, and I'm guessing the flames are used in the film to trap Hagrid, just a hunch. I don't think I'll get the Knight bus as I've still got the old one and it looks a bit ugly, how much is it anyway? The hogwarts set looks great though, I don't want to sound impatient but has anyone found any pics of the interior I'm dying for a look! I hope there is a classroom as there wasn't one in the 4th Hogwarts and it could do with one.

    Thanks again!

  9. Howdy all. This is Yope with my first ever post, woooo!

This set looks awesome. Ever since the first Harry Potter sets came out I have desperately wanted a Prof. Sprout, so I gave a little yelp when I saw this set! It will be nice to have a second Neville and a third Lupin to add to my Hogwarts but as with several others I think Lucius could have been replaced by someone like Dolohov, I mean he plays a huge part in the book. Another Dementor adds to the playability and a new Goyle won't go amiss. I'm looking forward to adding this to Lego 4842. It's great you can join them up. Anyway, that's all until the pictures of the Forbidden Forest are released and I hope you enjoyed my first post.

    See y'all later!
