Really? My son said he could write that...

I have to buy my son a new mouse for his computer so he can play it properly. The mouse buttons on his laptop are knackered, and he has to resort to using the touchpad.
Great game, though
-
Well that came out of nowhere
My son claimed his code about an hour ago, he's now playing away at the game with his friends, who also had beta codes.
-
There were actually leaks by Lego store employees telling of the new X-Wing and Ewok Village back in January but most people didn't take them seriously. I need to get myself some Lego store employee friends. :P
Me and my son are actually friends with the manager at Westfield London! We barely ever ask him for info though, as we'd hate for him to get into trouble.
-
You mean open beta? Hmm, should be summer if there will be one....
-
I'm sure a bit of modding might fix that. My son's really happy that Galaxy Squad has finally come out, so I guess starting with the biggest set is a good way to kick start a collection! I also thought the Bug Obliterator would be a better choice for him, I didn't see as much lasting appeal in the VV compared to the Obliterator.
-
My son had £60 to spend the other day, and he chose the Bug Obliterator when the Lego store manager (who's a friend of ours) recommended it to him.
My son chose it over the VV because the VV is quite small apparently.

Congrats 'just2good'!!!
-
Wow, it's exactly the same as the 2009 version! I'm wondering why they re-issued it, maybe they wanted more civilian sets? Or perhaps this is a VIP exclusive?
-
Our friend (who's the Manager at Westfield London) always puts sets aside for us. He even sends them over to France for us!
-
So my son and I need to decide between the Vermin Vaporizer and the Bug Obliterator. What do you guys think?
-
This does sound like an interesting idea, but how would this affect The Lego Group? They would have to put some sort of piracy law into place, a bit like illegal film and media distribution laws. Or maybe these printers are limited only to big companies like Lego?
-
So there will be a boxed copy?
-
That looks... crazy! Is that supposed to be the ninja? Whatever happened to their hairstyles?
They could be in disguise, we should find out soon since there's meant to be a new season this fall.
-
Hmm, perhaps the Ninja have to become actors in one of the new episodes, which would be quite similar to The Royal Blacksmiths.

Does anybody know where I could find some decals for Mr Gold? We have a golden minifigure keychain from a few years back, and I want to make a Mr Gold for my son.
-
As for video game licenses, what about Sonic The Hedgehog? My son is a huge fan of the franchise, but Meccano has the license and it might interfere with Chima because of the anthropomorphic animals.
-
I'm kind of relieved that nothing really interest me this year except maybe the coast guard stuff and the Friends cruiser, I need to catch up on some old sets I missed out on over the years.
According to our Lego store manager friend, June 1st for the UK, probably the same for the US.

According to a Lego store manager, Galaxy Squad should release on the 1st of next month in the UK
-
Any news on a release date for these?
-
Tomato tomarto. They are both the same thing at the end of the day.
I don't really see how it's destroying their reputation at all.

My wife talked to the Westfield Lego store manager on the phone on Monday about Mr Gold while we were making a purchase. He said that he couldn't find one for my son because they're so scarce, however he said he could feel out any other minifigure for us. He did the same thing for us in Series 8, so my son chose the Skydiver and the Roman Commander. I'll probably just make a Mr Gold for my son, can't be too difficult.

What cinema was this?

Perhaps it'll end up in the Star Wars shop at Legoland Windsor. They did that with shirtless Darth Maul after all....
