  1. Apparently I watched England win the World Cup in 1966, although I don't remember because I was only a few weeks old. That does however make me old enough to join this exclusive club. May I have a badge?

I imagine you're done with Stranger in a Strange Land now, and you may be onto something else, but if you enjoyed Heinlen, I'd highly, highly, recommend reading his short story All You Zombies.

Starship Troopers is good too. The terrible film with the same name has almost nothing to do with the book and is based on literally about 6 pages in the middle of the book. If you read Starship Troopers then you absolutely have to read Bill The Galactic Hero which is Harry Harrison's satire/pastiche on Starship Troopers. Absolutely hilarious.

Currently reading The long way To A Small angry Planet by Becky Chambers which isn't your normal run-of-the-mill sci-fi. This is more kind of space opera in an Ursula Le Guin style.

  3. Greetings from London.

When I was a kid I had quite a bit of studded lego from the late 60s/early 70s. I entered my dark ages around the age of 12 and remained there for a very long time. However, my interest was piqued when TLG brought out the NXT robotics kit around 2006, and since then I've rekindled my love of lego, and really love the new Technics stuff which was never around when I a was kid. I've been lurking around the Eurobricks forums for some considerable time, but finally decided I should join. My current project is YABL (Yet Another Backhoe Loader).
