Thanks guys! I tried out the other hairpiece and it's really fitting as well, I can post an update picture tomorrow. The head is from Lone Ranger, called Captain J. Fuller (basically Custer :P). I guess the soul patch could be scratched off to make it perfect, don't want to risk damaging the head right now, though.
-
Blue Leader! I've also ordered this hairpiece to see how it'd look like. But I'm already quite happy.

Don't forget we'll get BB8, which might be biggest set? Unless Sir von Lego counts it as UCS and not part of the TLJ line :) Then Snoke's ship (probably some sort of Star Destroyer or Super Star Destroyer) could be the biggest.

Sir von Lego has been correct in the past. Please stop claiming repsectable people are spreading fake info, because it tends to be pretty annoying ;) In other news, new A-Wing: http://a.dilcdn.com/bl/wp-content/uploads/sites/6/2017/04/star-wars-books-celebration-orlando-13-1.jpg I doubt we'll get another one as a Lego set, but maybe for wave 2 or later on?

A little bit of a bummer. I was hoping they would at least introduce molded visors (similar to U-Wing pilot and TFA helmets).
-
Might be a Yavin IV UCS set. But I'm not getting my hopes up.
-
It just means they are no longer being produced. They will be retired when they are sold out. They aren't going to pick an arbitrary date and shred the leftover sets I think :)
-
On the preliminary pictures for next year (bunker set), it looks like we're getting a second Shoretrooper variant (completely tan armor and tan left arm). Like the guy on the left and right.
-
I hope many won't have to die for this ;)
-
Probably not exactly the same at least. Microfighters all have flick fire missiles, the adventure book one does not, as far as I'm aware.
-
Could you show the crew head then? :)
-
Do the minifigs in the Tie Striker set all have angry clone faces?
-
Finn's hairpiece in black or dark bluish grey wouldn't be too bad for the non-bald version.
-
I wouldn't mind regular variations of the Death Troopers without pauldrons and ammo pouches in the BP. Variations are always good :)

US prices are fine. I really hate that Euro prices are 10 bucks more
-
It's the same as the 2016 Spider droid, so I wouldn't be surprised if they re-used that for the Starfighter.
-
Same. I'm now waiting for my ISD (75055) to arrive. Bought a new one (most bags still sealed) without minifigs for 100 bucks, what a great deal Only gotta buy the crew separately, as I already have a Stormie and Vader.
-
Still waiting for a picture of the box side. Quite interesting that it hasn't been leaked yet.
-
I just wasn't aware of the weight differences. That definitely does help to explain the price.

Yes. But on the other hand, if you compare it to the new Disney Castle... - The Castle has 4080 pieces, that is 64 pieces more than the new DS. - The Disney Castle only costs $350, that's $150 less than the new DS. - Don't tell me that the amount of minifigures in the new DS (which are already part of the piece count!) costs Lego $150 to produce - and few parts of the minifigs are actually exclusives. - Given that the Disney Castle is from the same license giver, the StarWars tax cannot really account for it either. - Last but not least, the Disney Castle objectively looks more modern and elaborate than the 2008-style DS. I'm not saying the new DS isn't worth the 500 bucks, but I definitely see why someone could have issues with it.
-
I guess I would have been happy with a DS similar to the one on the right: Some slopes to round the overall shape (it's not perfect yet I must admit). With some stickers to give it some texture I think it could have looked great. I also rounded the center plate section a bit. Stickers with some texture also would have worked there well I think.

Just seen a high-res image. The new Han hair piece looks splendid.
-
These three are coming October 1st.

Yes, you're right. Never stumbled upon this piece before.
