  1. All of that sounds good. The medieval thief especially.

A simple combo of messenger bag, hood/cowl, short sword/dagger and a jewel could work really well. Hood can even be replaced with a regular hairpiece and that'd still be okay. Perhaps, even a Wolfpack symbol(since they are a bandit faction) on the torso to cause quite a stir amongst Castle fans, like they did with the Forestman minifigure.

That would nice but those would be a lot of castle Minifigure together in one wave: The Queen, the Winged Warrior, the Scary Knight and the Thief

I think the Winged Warrior can be considered a Mythology minifigure instead of Castle. There are 3 Castle minifigures in series 12 (5, if you consider Battle Goddess and Hun Warrior. And 6 with Genie Girl, though that might be stretching it a bit too far) and also 3 in series 13 (6, if you also add Egyptian Warrior, Samurai and Lady Cyclops). So, with not highly likely, I guess the possibility still stands until we get a leak or confirmation.

  2. I'm a little bit dissapointed with the hairpiece of the Queen, I'd love to have a new hairpiece with a crown, like series 13 King. As for the Scary Knight, I'd love to see a non-human knight. A heavily armored goblin or orc would be really nice. Also, while it'll most probably be a City style thief, I still have hopes for the Jewel Thief being a Castle style thief. A medieval style thief would with right in to almost all Castle sets and MOCs.

  3. In previous leaks from this person there have been items from different lines shared at the same time. There could also be some special promotion for the Minifigures Online game that hasn't been revealed yet.

There are 2 mythological characters, Hades and Zeus, in Minifigures Online and I'm pretty sure they'll include them in a future CMF series sooner or later. They usually make the same exact minifigure, but there are some exceptions like King and Evil Wizard, both of which look different in the game. By the way, I have the game and if anybody wants I can get a screenshot of Zeus, Hades, zombie football player or any other minifigure from the game.

  4. Interesting that the crossbow piece is new and different from chewie's. I can't wait to see a better picture of them. From what I can tell they remind me of the Baracca squid shooters.

    ~Insectoid Aristocrat

As far as I remember, someone told that crossbow was a new spring shooter pieces. But the Chewie style croosbow will also appear in one of the small Elves sets. Not sure about the colour scheme though, hopefully not too Friends-ish.

  5. Lego refers to this theme as a Castle theme. They never said that Ninjago was a Historical theme.

And where might that be? If you refer to the text on the catalogue, those sentences hardly prove this to be a Castle theme. This theme is more of a successor of Chima than anything else. So, from the look of the sets, I also think it'll be listed as an Action theme.

Also, I like the new 1x1 pyramid slopes. But still, I'm dissapointed that they didn't make a new mace as a minifigure weapon(not brick built).

  6. Saw the pictures about an hour ago, my eyes are still bleeding. TLG did a great job on creating an abomination. This is more or less what I thought it'd be: KK2 meets Chima. Except it looks much worse than both Chima and KK2 combined! And those shields! Just when I thought we'll finally get tower shields for Castle, they made it completely unusable for Castle builds by adding that weird topside. So much potentially good pieces are wasted completely.

On the bright side, I'll pass up this entire theme and save money for a possible Castle theme in 2017.

  7. I'm still discovering about the guilds, landscape of the regions and tribes/families, and I really like the idea so far! All four of them are very interesting and while I often find myself leaning towards Avalonia(which looks like it'd suit most to my planned character, a half elf), I've yet to completely decide on a guild for myself. Also, I totally loved the idea of the Grand Griffon Tavern and Inn. It's a shame that place is almost deserted now, I hope the place will get more lively soon, I'm sure Master Gabbold could use the gold.

Also, I heard there is another place called Varlyrio, but couldn't find much information about it. Can anyone tell me about that place as well, please?

  8. I started this whole Lego madness when I was 3 years old, with Smuggler's Shanty set of Pirates theme. I quickly expanded to other themes as well, and some of those sets contained small catalogues and brochures that contained pictures of sets from other series. That's when I first saw of Lego Trains. The next time we went to a toy store, I grabbed one of the big catalogues, took it to home with me and watched the train diaromas in awe. Those cranes and cargo trains, as well as passenger trains and stations were all too awesome for me. I was about to burst with happiness when my family agreed to buy a cargo train set for me. However, no matter how many toy stores we checked, we couldn't find one. Turned out that none of the Trains and Harbor sets were imported to my country back then. I was so dissapointed, and while I still tried to build trains out of the other sets I had, none of them looked like the ones I used to see on the catalogues. However, things changed with RC Trains sets. The main Lego distributor in my country back then decided to import Trains sets as well. Perhaps because of the hype accumulated inside of me since my childhood, I bought every single RC Trains set that came out in Europe and still have all of them now. Well, except Emerald Night and Horizon Express. I'm still pursuing both of them and hopefully get them soon.

  9. There's a TNRO windscreen shaped like V that could be used. I'll have to look again.

Magic book is the same in both sets and a key factor in the storyline - looks like stickers

Thanks! As long as there are new prints or stickers, books are quite welcome for me. And a TNRO windscreen? Ice planet remake in 2017 confirmed!

By the way, is Jestro a human, a monster or a robot?

  10. It looks great, the amount of detail on both the wall and the vegetation is incredible. This gives me a great idea for making vines and even putting some flowers on them. :classic:

I got a question though: Is the guard without helmet beating those poor cats with a club? :oh3:

  11. Man, we're not getting any normal castle stuff. I get you don't like it, lol.

Yeah that's the shape of the shield.

By the way, have the mods discussed whether or not posting drawings of things is ok?

Are there any new parts that could be used or a Space build? I mean, not in a Space/Castle hybrid like Nexo Knights, but in a pure Space build. Something like a jetpack, a new laser rifle or perhaps a new radar part?

Also how do those magic books look? Are they printed, or do they have stickers on them?

  12. There are swords used by the GOOD faction which are knights and ROBO-knights that have the lower skeleton parts from ninjago 1 attached to what seems this piece:

    4697b.gif?0

and a brick 1 x 1 with studs on all sides, then tile 1 x 1 with clip on sides, and then these:

    48729b.jpg?1

on sides and head on top.

On front a 1x1 tile with BLACK FALCON logo.

Well, sounds like those weapons won't be of much use for me then. Black Falcon logo made me curious though. Is it only on the tile, or also on shields and flags as well?

  13. Alright, gonna be updating this post one set description at a time. I will not post pictures.

General facts - logo is legit  Boxes are dark blue with a firey orange to yellow sci fi- sort of border. Main Nexo Knight colors are blue and grey with a lot of trans neon reddish-orange. The shield in the logo is a piece that appears a LOT. Set designs are.. pretty wacky.

70310 Knighton Disc Launchers - Small thing with two wheels (they're old wheels, only set I remember is Rocket Ride from Spongebob) with two disc shooters. Two long stick things with new NERO blade pieces. Knight is grey with new blue armor piece, and the weird helmet that looks like a dish and a round thing on top. Weird. Bad guy is all red with a black Tomahawk Warrior mohawk.

70311 Chaos Catapult - Appears to be a dark brown/black thing with NERO bits on the side. A blue knight.

70312 Lance's Robo Horse - Really weird design. Rather skinny, those plain angled Technic things in blue are literally the limbs. Odd red wheel hanging from the chest in the middle. Plain white figure with grey armor on the back (presumably all prelim) Flick fire! All I can really make out.

Are weapons, armors and minifigure parts too sci-fi, or could they be used in a Castle MOC? Also, the same question for lava monsters. Are they robots that can blast their targets with lava or do they have more of a Fantasy Era-ish look to them?

    Also, what exactly is NERO?

  14. I think you misunderstand. This theme is going to be replacing Castle for a while. The term "knights" refers to sci-fi medieval-style knights, not futuristic military ops. This is supported by the presence of a king, wizard, and jester. I doubt LEGO would attempt to make a truly medieval castle theme, since it would thematically be too similar. This theme is a mash-up of Sci-Fi and Castle, and takes heavy visual cues from the latter.

From the sound of it, I think it's going to replace Chima instead of Castle. True, it somehow sounds like a Castle theme with a king, jester and wizard. But then again, Ninjago also has a ninja/samurai inspiration on the weapons and equipment of its minifigures and some of the mechs, clothing and buildings. However, it is not considered Castle(which, by the way, had a ninja theme that ran for 2 years), but a separate theme instead. So, once they are done with the current Pirates theme, TLG will most likely introduce a new Castle theme, even when Nexo Knights sets are still on the shelves.

  15. FIRST INFO:

    It's not a castle theme.

Yes yes YEEESSSS!!! This is what I always hoped to hear since this Nexo Knights madness started. Now I know that I can wait for a new Castle theme soon and not within the earliest of 5 years. I can't thank you enough, but thanks a lot for the information!!!

How is it not a castle theme if there's literally a castle in it and knights? We already know it's not historical, but all of the characters and locations seem heavily Castle-influenced. Technological armor sounds good, and I like the tank idea better than the rolling stilt legs we heard about before.

Well, for all we know, those knights could be commanders/high ranked soldiers/special ops in the Nexo Knights theme. The term "knight" could've been be used like it was in Fallout series. In case you aren't familiar with Fallout, it was set in post-apocalyptic earth, and there is a faction in the game called The Brotherhood of Steel, whose members wear power armors(mechanized armors with a working engine and many facilities) and use lazer and plasma weapons. Sounds knight-ish? Nope? But most of the members of the Brotherhood of Steel are either Knights or Paladins. So, what I'm trying to say is, i could be something in a similar manner for Nexo Knights as well.

  16. So I've been doing some searching and found some interesting tidbits on a german site. No pictures yet, but some set listings that appear to be new.

Nexo-Merlocks Bücherei 2.0 Exklusiv Ve - Google Translate:

Nexo Merlocks Library 2.0 Exclusive Ve

Its encouraging to see mention of a building finally, especially something civilian like a library.

Nexo-Fortrex - Die rollende Festung - Google Translate:

Nexo Fortrex - The rolling fortress

I know we've seen the "mobile fortress" mentioned before, but I don't think it was in the amazon listings so here is another confirmation.

Nexo-Der Mech des Königs - Google Translate:

    Nexo The Mech king

Nexo sweepstakes package Monster, Jan 20

    With description:

Nexo Knights sweepstakes package Monster hunting Content: 1x Poster 50x70cm 4x wobler lettered 1x Dispenser for participation brochures 100x participation brochures A5 postcards with 100x Power Shield DIN A6

Nice find! Although, from what I remember of the German language, "Der Mech des Königs" means "The King's Mech", instead of "The Mech King".

  17. Troll torsos can also work quite well. Surprisingly, none of them have any green spots on them, so they can be used by just switching the hands and arms. Troll sorceress can fit to a zombie setting really good as well. As both her torso and legs/robes parts have nice printings on them, changing only the head and hands would be enough. Also, some of the viking torsos can work as well, since they have this similar "mangy armor" pattern.

  18. Awesome build! Seems like Wolfpack decided to team up with Forestmen to steal every bit of gold in the whole kingdom. Or are they simply using what they looted off of the Forestmen they killed? Also, the skeleton hidden in the LURP is a great touch, it has a nice old style castle set feeling to it. Great job!

  19. Man, too bad the set list and logo couldn't also be someone's fake info.

    ^^This

I have to say I'm glad we initially thought Fantasy Era was coming back because that rumor got an overwhelming response everywhere.

I hope someone on TLG noticed it. Maybe they could consider it for a future Castle release.

If they are planning for a Ninjago/Chima kind of theme, then I'm afraid that "future" is going to be a rather distant future. I'd really really love to get a real Castle theme along with nexo Knight, with Nexo Knights being the new action theme/Chima replacement and Castle actually being Castle, but I guess that's not going to happen. :sceptic:
