honestly, they should just issue a fix for this ship, like wall-e's neck. they can't expect people to buy a 100euro+ ship that doesnt work like it does in the movie.

LEGO Star Wars 2016 Pictures and Rumors

some of you will. the level-headed ones won't. for the price of a mediocre star wars rebels lego set i can buy a beautifully engineered star wars action figure from bandai. -

hey VAT in belgium is 21%! whatever, i refuse to buy anything unless it is heavily discounted. 25-33% on amazon, double vip at the lego store. it's still ridiculously expensive like that, esp compared to other toys of comparable quality, yeah, it's ridiculous. -

the guy in the funny helmet is the problem. there's one in the battlepack, two in kylo's shuttle and another one somehwere else iirc. -
sure they add variety, but not when theyre the default trooper with the clean ones being the odd ones out in an army.

Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here

My favourite stormies are the ones that came with the Death Star, I love the aesthetic. The one in the Ewok village and Ewok/speeder sets was good too. I don't mind the Rebels version either, but I do wish they gave them black or balaclava'd heads under those helmets. It's silly how you can see flesh at the neck, and I don't know how it doesn't bother more people. The Slave 1 stormie is not bad, but Im not going to jump through blazing hoops to get them. Im not a fan of leg printing in general, especially the kind where it stops abruptly at the knee. Some of it is good, like the leg printing on the sandies in the droid escape set, but most of the rest ... meh. -

Id agree with you on scalping if it were a limited run, poorly distributed action figure line like MOTUC or star wars black series ... but Lego? How does a guy who buys 19 death stars taking those sales from fans? Lego sets are among the most available, if not THE most available, toys out there. Whoever wants or wanted a particular set has ample time and opportunity to do so. But yeah, it's a good policy to re-release older sets I think. Playmobil has been doing it a lot recently. -

a new death star so soon after the last one will probably be a disaster for those resellers who have 55 of them in storage waiting to sell them for double the price. who'd want to buy the old one then? -
it looks more like poe than the hasbro six inch action figure!

well one area of improvement is the inane way printing ends abruptly at the knee. i HATE that, and ruins a figure for me, totally does. I would buy a new death star even though i have two already, one of them MISB. the other one i have on display, id use it for parts. So many parts! -

Fair point regarding more stormies in sets to come. But knowing Lego, next year's batch will have slightly different printing, and so will be those for the year after that. Grrrrrrrr. -

the least i can hope is that they do NOT change the design/printing of the various FO troopers from this wave to the nxt one. let's have some consistency please? at least for one or two waves. re the battle packs, i will get bothe TFA ones. the battlefront ones, i couldnt care less about them and the various stormtrooper variants. it was bad enough with the clones. -

the xwing will be back later this month, the website says. i guess they couldve asked me whether i wanted the order cancelled or if i prefered waiting a bit more. -
Poe's X-Wing Fighter (75102) Availability
Bolingbroke replied to 955561976's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Mine was cancelled as well, from s@h belgium. i had another item in the order which theyve processed (a battlepack), and theyre still honoring the yularen promotion, which i guess is nice because battlepacks are only 15 euro or so. But man, ramp up production will you. -
incidentally, last night i realised that amazon france (not a third party seller, either) was selling this for 38 euro!
-
wow .... 3180 yen? does that mean that even in JAPAN prices are better than in EUROPE, where legos are made? wow again.
-
gah. i see theyre still insisting on ending the leg printing abruptly at the knee. i would honestly prefer no leg printing at all.
-
if you buy them from amazon.com, they will slap the duty/vat charges automatically. might get an eventual refund if it's lower than that, buy you might not.
-
Those prices in euro are simply obscene. I don't care if they're French or German prices, they're way too high compared to US prices. Lego has finally priced me out of collecting Star Wars sets. Lego isn't the only line I collect, and Id rather spend my money on other things if that's how they insist on treating their European customers.

That constraction jedi luke is a dead ringer for benedict cumberbatch.

This. If I wanted my minifigures to look exactly like their real life counterparts, Id buy Hot toys figures.

I bought the shadow trooper and itt battle packs this morning. I like them. I never had much of a problem with rebels-style stormtroopers, unlike many. The only problem for me with the 'drooping' mouth grille is that now it doesn't line up with the groove in the mold. I would have preferred black or balaclava'd heads, too, because from behind they look better. The other set is quite good, but I can't understand what the deal is with the 'stain' on the front of the helmet, and it being a different shade of grey.

I'm quite happy with the idea of printed robes a la the new Obi Wan, to be honest. The colour discrepancy between the torso and leg printing bothers me (here and elsewhere ... i'm talking to you, scout trooper), but at the end of the day it is a good compromise.
