Hmm, so you can use the flexible axles as leaf springs? That's neat, I'll have to try that sometime. Does it in any way deform or mess up the flexible axles as far as aesthetics? I've also always wondered what the differential was used for with an axle straight through it (at the Servomotor for steering). Thanks.

The pictures are really neat!

Nice, another off-roader? That's awesome, it's actually probably my favorite class of vehicles. I wish I had an RC unit

Man, it seems trial-and-error is a common thing It's really getting along nicely!
-
Ah, nice choice of lighting; I like how the front bumper is shaped!

Nice, I'd really like to see this car in a LEGO version! It's going to take ALOT of pneumatic hoses to cover this thing though The gearing seems roughly 1:5, it seems a little too high to have that much torque with those big tires; I tried 1:9 gearing with Mindstorms Large motors and 43.2 x 22 ZR tires yet had problems with torque Although I've never used XL motors before so it's probably fine Anyway, I hope to see you finish this!

Nice job BusterHaus! I bet it was fun building a replica

Hmm, I may need to resort to this. It will save me a lot of money

Great job ZERO BRICKS! I'm happy to see you still building despite your job situation. Keep pressing on

Looks great! I like the compactness.

As I promised, here's the video

Nice! I like the door function, kinda like the one on Sariel's new Audi

Okay, this has been taking longer than I thought it would, but here it is so far. I've modeled the front end, including the lights and grille. A V8 engine with the supercharger on top was added for realistic function, and it works too. I'm planning for the piston engine to work by attaching it to the drivetrain through gearing, making it high-rev. I'll upload the video ASAP. For now, enjoy some pictures
Thanks for viewing, and please remember that this isn't going to be a 100% accurate replica. And this isn't the final result anyway

Not bad, looks like I see some racing stripes on the hood? Again, can't wait until it's finished!

What else to say but breathtaking…

Awesome! I've always liked the old Toyota FJs, great job with this.

Neat, I like it!

Amazing performance! I love the brawly tires too! What do you use for a remote? Pressure washer?

Thanks, but I've bought enough sets lately I'm buying a batch of PF components pretty soon, so…Time for a new $20 set? I recommend the Record Breaker.

Looks very clean! This has got to be my favorite car of his.

Thank you! It has return-to-center steering, just left center and right. That is an, erm... Interesting vehicle. Proportionwise it is totally over the top, it is so wiiiide :)
But I find the electronic diff a really interesting concept. Does it also work proportionally with the steering angle? Or is it just 3 settings ( left right straight)

The rear of that car… my goodness it looks awesome!

I went retro this time around and decided to build something as big as I could without compromising the look. Chopp3Rod is the result of many hours of work, sporting both an attractive interior and exterior. The wheels are driven by independent direct drive via two Large Motors. A complex program allows the drivetrain to mimic a differential since a real differential was not used. Therefore it has an electronic differential! It sports many details, including a V12 engine, transparent lights, a Color Sensor headlight, comfy seats, clear quarter-panel windows, side exhaust, curvy wheel arches, rear tonneau cover, custom wheel hubs, and more! I am really happy with this model and how it turned out.

Having problems with my LEGO pull-back motor, it is loud and coarse sounding. Compare it to a good one and notice the difference. The internals sound messed up, as if the gears or springs inside are misaligned or out-of-place. Tell me what you guys think about this.

Nice job! Sariel did say it would be difficult, but he never said it was impossible. Great job working on this.
