hmm...aren't the Sandtroopers in the Escape Pod set just regular troopers (i mean...they don't have the dirt spots anymore)...even the C3PO looks the same! Can anyone confirm this?

Yeah...even if the two planets resemble...erm...planets...the Death Star looks like a big gray blob of nothing but with only two half sphere pieces, i wasn't expecting much more

Same here! not liking much the overprinting on the troopers (but i was never a fan of the prequels and CW stuff, so i'm biased ) but i do like the new Sandtroopers overall aspect and, so far, only the Droid Escape and the Tie-Fighter look like a must buy to me...

Exactly! i really like my 6212, but the overhaul on the Tie got me hoping that the new X-wing would be a big plus over the older model! But, for me, it still is a great set, but not worthy enough to replace my 6212 ...and i would love an A, B and Y-Wing, because i don't have none

Is it weird that the only set i'm looking forward to is the Droid Escape? (btw...overpriced ) having the previous version of the X-Wing, i was looking forward to the new one, as seeing the overhaul they made on the Tie got me curious...but it seems so "passable" better hope it's a sort of "too prelim to criticize" thing as for the other sets...erm...no... but i have to see some more pics of the Endor set, just to try and give it a last chance of redemption

I do agree with Aanchir! I only have one UCS set, the AT-ST, and even being not in minifig scale, it's simply awesome I would love to have a B-Wing UCS minifig scale, but if it's not minifig scale, i'll bet the level of detail will be really good, paring with some of the MOC's we have seen so far

I would buy an B-Wing anytime, regardeless of any possible minifigs (but a pilot would help ), as i don't have none... quick question: did the previous versions of the B-Wing had any kind of movable wings, or were they fixed? if they were movable, i don't see the problem of that happening on the new version...

Yeah i was talking about the DVD release of the SE...i really have the idea that somekind of a swoop bike appears on the desert scene...or maybe my mind is already blocking too much of the SE+PREQUELS+CLONE WARS stuff that is starting to see things that aren't really there I just hope that the escape pod isn't the same that comes with the Tantive IV set btw, as i was seeing some pics of the new Tie-Fighter, something got me curious: will the panels connect to the main sctructure by some technic pins or beams? if not, it does seems a bit fragile, as i can see those wings fall a lot...

oh but it is...in one of those "amazing" Lucas extended additions it "swoops" around on the escape pod scene... back on topic, 20€? i was expecting a more expensive set, as it has some minifigs (maybe they are not using no new molds whatsoever) the price seems fine to me, so i'll prob going to get one of those :D hmmm, someone said that the Retailers Catalog was already out, so...erm...work on those pics please people

i would love that! i only have 2 Rebel Commandos (got them on the Endor Bunker set, that i got only by 40€, due to a misprint of the actual price, btw :laugh: ) and i do love the color scheme and the helmet! hmm, i was wondering if the helmet size actually allowed a two faced head, but after watching some pics of them, the "back printed" face would be totally hidden beneath the helmet I'm still i bit undecided about the BP's with both factions, as, excluding the OT ones, none of those actually interest me, but on the previous BP's, you can really decide what you wanto to get, as i did when i got the Mando's BP and passed the clonies...
