Great looking winch Carp. I really like using the fuel tank space for the motor. Do you have anymore photos of the winch elements and how the cable runs please? I tried the e-webs and they are probably going to take up to much space, especially if anyone is going to try and do a double winch on each door. The IMPs gunners seemed to have the repeating blaster based on the MG42. A robot arm with opposite claws holds the ‘sniper’ type rifle that comes with the Snow Trooper battle pack quite well, with a technic element on the end to make it look more like an automatic weapon. I have just about filled the top front cabin now and am finding with fourth trooper seated back from each side that their helmet is stopping the front armour panels closing fully. I may need to mod this with L plate bricks to retain the support but give clearance for the figure as they get knocked forward out of the seat currently.
  2. Thanks for the info. I had my first box arrive tonight. Really impressed with all the figures, particularly the scout trooper.
  3. Looks amazing! I did the same thing and used my VIP points from the walker to make a start on filling it up. I’m still waiting for my battle packs to arrive. Do the scout troopers have many differences to the standard Endor scout troopers? Like more of a Arctic warfare equipment style on the printing?

Great work on the winch Guitar Hero. I was trying to figure out a way of having a pair of them slide out from the cabin roof as per the cross section illustration but I really like your solution. As for the discussion on the unseen crew members I have gone for the same imperial officer mini figs to be the ‘Deck Officers’. I’ve got a few battle packs on order for additional Snow troops, the Scout troops and the extra bikes for the empty bay. However I have also recently been rewatching I.M.P.S The Relentless (a fan made mocu-mentry about Imperial forces) and they feature the very cool concept of AT-AT door gunners to cover the deploying snow troopers. Their uniforms appear to be a mix of AT AT driver and Snowtrooper and they are equipped with repeating blasters that fold out from the AT AT door frame on a harness much like a helicopter door machine gun.
  5. Thanks OS. I've ordered a new grey hair element for Wing Commander Rosh, as the current one does not match his moustache and seems to light. Pics to follow.
  6. Totally agree. It's great to see the Empire's forces portrayed as more than cannon fodder for the Rebels!
  7. Hi All, Not sure if this even counts as a MOC, but I thought it would be cool to recreate some of the characters of the recent 'TIE Fighter' anime film that recently went viral on YouTube and the wider Internet. I've got a few more head and hair elements in the post, so may be able to get theses minifigs looking a bit more accurate, and perhaps do a minifig for Commander Gaunt using the Star Wars Rebel Imperial Officer body as a starting point. If you haven't seen the film, check it out on YouTube, one of the best fan created Star Wars works I have ever seen. If anyone wants any details on these or more pics, let me know. This link is all the forum would allow me to post as the pics are too big to upload.
  8. Hi Blacktron, As if by magic the Marines arrived today. Very well packed, and the quality of the painting and sculpting is excellent. It's the little details that really shine for me though and show the love that has gone into creating these minifigs. The tiny details of graffiti on Hudson's armour, 'Adios' on Vasquez's smart gun, and Apone's binoculars. All things I would never have noticed if they weren't there, but immediately remembered when I saw them. The lamp pack bulbs and motion tracker screen are even detailed with luminous paint, an awesome idea. I can't recommend these figures highly enough and will be treating myself to some more as soon as funds allow. Thanks again for making these exquisite figs and your great customer service.
  9. Hi Blacktron, I've posted in the other thread and emailed you, but thought I would post here and cover all the bases( and it gets me closer to 10 posts). What have you got left in Stock of these excellent figures?
  10. Hi Blacktron, I saw your excellent work on a google search and was wondering whether you were still making the Marines minifigs? Do you have a website I could buy some from? Do you also make the Dropship and APC kits that I have seen your figures pictured with in dioramas? Again, awesome work, I'm really liking the WY PMCs too.
