I've gotten this a few times with minifigs, not sure why it happens. It usually gets looser if you just twist the joints around several times. Be careful though, one time I got a head stuck on a torso so tight I had to pull it off with pliers and scratched the head.

I haven't had any problems with that, but I have been having problems with VIP for the last month or so. LEGO wasn't letting me access my points, but I emailed them and they fixed it. You might want to contact them about it, negative points sounds bad.

Looks like special forums to me. It would be nice though if there was a special forum just for miniland and similar scales. Also, those ones you posted look great, particularly the police car and the white car.

Looks nice. Not a fan of the lime feet though, looks out of place. Black might be better, or some other darker color.

How old are the stickers? If they are just from a year or so ago they should be able to send them, but if they are from, say, when LEGO first started with Star Wars, it might be harder to get images of them.

Nice, I like the flexible parts on the outsides of the wings. Not sure about the bley behind the cockpit, blue would look better there I think since you have the blue panels on either side.

Eurobricks SW raffle entry by brickmack, on Flickr Rebel soldiers and Stormtroopers stop fighting and exchange gifts in a Hoth trench. Apparently a few other people made similar things, inspired by the same WWI christmas thing. Oh well...

BC-9 Viper by brickmack, on Flickr DSC_0113 by brickmack, on Flickr DSC_0114 by brickmack, on Flickr A vic-viper starfighter manufacured as a capital ship attack/defense fighter. Many were later modified and repainted. Built this for NNoVVember. Those side parts were the start of this, layered at different angles.

Looks nice, I like that windscreen part. Lots of nice details.

If they haven't started printing and distributing them yet (though by now they probably have...) you could try emailing them about it. Might not work, but there is still a tiny chance they might fix the mistakes. -
Looks interesting. I can't wait for the good pictures, I see some nice details (I think)

Now I'm jealous... -
The use as speech bubbles doesn't look very good, but I'm sure somebody will come up with uses. I might get a set and see if I can find some use.

Looks nice. I haven't seen The Wizard of Oz so I don't know how accurate it is (Though some of those minifigs look a bit odd for a movie of that time, like the guy with the rocker mohawk), but I do like the design. The buildings (houses?) look nice, and the spiral looks good also. Is the bush in the lower left corner picture just made using regular flower parts connected using travis bricks? That's what it looks like, but I can't tell for sure.

I hope it is around for a while, though it probably won't be (the other Maersk set didn't last very long if I remember correctly). I'm not really a big train fan (well, I am, but I just haven't gotten into LEGO trains because of the cost...) but I would like to get it eventually for the Maersk blue parts.

In most cases, I don't apply them. Eventually I'm planning to make scans of all of them, so I can make enough copies to reuse in MOCs. Most of the time I take a set I build apart within a month or two of building it, so it isn't worth it to apply stickers to a group of parts which I may likely never use for the same purpose again.

DSCN0050 by brickmack, on Flickr I got this set of three minifigures at the LEGO store grand opening in Indianapolis back in april. They were given away for free to I think the first 500 customers. The top of the package says "395 of 500". All three say "2011 The LEGO Store, Indianapolis, IN" on the back of the torso, and the front torso print seems to be exclusive to this pack (though the one on the right appeared in several sets on a white background). I'd get front pictures but I can't seem to get them to turn around in the package, and I don't want to open it. Anyone know how much this is worth? It's unopened, and I haven't been able to find anything like it on bricklink or brickset so far. Would it be a good idea to keep it sealed and sell it eventually, or is it relatively unvaluable?

LEGO store grand opening minifigure pack

Ah thanks for the information. I guess I'll keep it for a while, hopefully the price will go up with time. -
Wedge parts with the angled section on both left and right sides in the same part, but done so it is an odd number of studs wide (such as a 3x3 wedge, which would be the angled parts from a left and a right 2x3 wedge connected to a 1x3 plate in the middle). I can post pictures if this isn't very clear. "Cheese grater" slopes without the vents Tiny PF motors that are just a few studs long NXT remote controller More parts in some of the rarer colors, like orangeish brown and pink. I think it would be good if they came up with some way to have the hair and hat as separate parts, so you can take the hat off. Perhaps something like the little mini-pin thing used to attach the crowns onto the princesses/queens/female royal characters' heads in some of the castle sets.

Mechanical heart, dark soul, metal body... Sideshade
brickmack replied to Lazarev N.'s topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Nice. The head is rather small, as someone already said. Those clothe parts look great as cloaks though (might have to get some...). I particularly like how the gun and sword both attach. -
Thanks. I'm working on interchangeable "weapons packages" that will connect to the wings instead of the one on there right now (laser cannons, missiles, missile pods, etc)but I haven't finished yet.

AFOL article in the Wall Street Journal
brickmack replied to DaddyWhale's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Greater article. Interesting to finally have a rough estimate of the number of adult LEGO fans (though there probably some smaller communities LEGO hasn't counted yet). -
Somewhat good at programming (not particularly great though), and I'm a really fast reader.

I don't have any kids, but if I did, I probably would let them (though if they break anything of mine that took more than an hour to make, or permanently destroy any rare parts, there might be a problem). Also they would have to demonstrate a knowledge of my sorting system first, so I don't spend a week re-sorting every time they build something.
