  1. Wolfpack has always been my favorite castle faction. I mixed in some Hobbit minifigs with older faces and a bunch of extra foliage. The large flags are the only custom piece from "The Plastic Brick," since there was no official Wolfpack fabric flag.

  2. I don't see this selling too well in the United States, given current police/civilian relations.

This one is a hard pass for me. Plus, the "cops love donuts" stereotype is so played out, it's tiring.

Oh my goodness... that is a huuuuuuuuuge collection!!!

This has been growing since my first castle set I got when I was 6 years old in 1994 :) my dark ages lasted from 2004-2010

Nice little set. Although I think you have mixed light grey and light bluish grey together. Probably the same with the old dark greys and no doubt the browns too.

I'm fine with the slight color difference between them, and use them interchangeably. It adds a tad bit of realism to the model, IMO :)

  4. At first glance, I was disappointed because I was expecting a carbon-copy of the awesome fan made version. After looking at the official images closer, I'm more than excited now. Day 1 purchase for sure...that's if my Lego store will be open during Washington state's 2 week Stay Home order :(

I only wish they had used a classic blue baseplate instead of the cyan blue

The falcon is a niche set, in the grand scheme of things, very few people are going to buy one. LEGO has to consider whether it invests the majorty of its resources into a few extra falcons, or into all the normal sets people are going to buy for christmas.

The fact that it was sold out before Oct 1 launch tells me that the demand was greater than they realized. The current number of sets over the $100 mark on the market right now seems higher than usual - people aren't afraid to spend money on large sets.

I didn't mean to come off so whiny, fellas. I do, however, work in chemical manufacturing and have an idea of how production works and allocating resources ;)
