    What is this walker?

I would think the 10174 is the most accurate and awesome AT-ST. The build is just fantastic. It's just a bit pricey since it's a retired set.

Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here

i opened mine quite some time back, but as I recall, the sticker should be with the manual as well, and NOT in the other sealed boxes. Maybe someone else would like to confirm this?

    UCS sticker sheet archive?

Wow, nice going! I finally have the sticker sheet that I'm missing! :D I approve of sharing! That's the original purpose of this thread I think. I can't speak for the others though. :P Anyway, thanks again for managing to consolidate all the UCS sticker sheets!

    UCS sticker sheet archive?

I thought that was one of the points of me putting it on dropbox, lol Got any recommendations of where else to put it?

    UCS sticker sheet archive?

Hmm, i just tried it myself and it works though. You got any other ways for me to transfer the file? It's pretty big, around 18 MB.

    UCS sticker sheet archive?

Not sure if the link still works, but my original post had a link to my dropbox that contained the scan. Just post here if the link's not working, then I'll go grab a new link. :)

    Modded UCS R2-D2 + Mindstorms EV3

The hardest part was actually finding a way to fit the motors into the original legs. The motor itself is about half a stud wider than the actual leg, even though the motor portion fits into the "feet" pretty nicely. I had to compromise design with functionality in the end, otherwise I'll have to actually modify the feet to make it wider and build a frame around the motor (which will give the R2 "thunder thighs" in a way, haha). I'm using the remote for this, so I think the motors all run at max power, but if I use a program, I can control the strength of the spin of the head (and add sound effects!). I can probably look into using gears to tune it down though, but I'm no master builder, I'll need time to figure out how to do that ^_^;; Currently, the head is literally suspended by just the axle at the top of the dome (pointing downwards) which fits into the medium motor directly. That's also why it's a little like a bobble-head R2, with the head swaying around after it spins or when the R2 gets stuck when moving. It can do with more mods, but so far, I'm liking it as it is :) Just need more time and parts...
  8. I finally got around to doing it! I tried to integrate the Mindstorms EV3 set (as much as I can) into the UCS R2 without changing the look of the R2. Only the lower half of the legs look different, but the rest of the set remains pretty much identical to the original UCS R2. Here's a vid of my testing out the IR function (i.e. remote control). I'll probably add more functions in future (like the light sensor and pressure sensor, although I'm not sure where to put the latter). And adding a custom demo program with original R2 sounds! :D

    Modded Microfighter TIE Fighter

I finally made the modifications (but in dark bley unfortunately). What do you guys think? I'll probably switch it to light bley later on, but the local pick-a-brick isn't exactly overflowing with choices. I even got so into this that I decided to make a microfighter TIE Advanced. Comments on this, anyone? I also modified the back since the TIE Advanced main hull stretches all the way back (the original microfighter had a round radar dish as a back). And now I need to buy more microfighters...

    Modded Microfighter TIE Fighter

    Modded Microfighter TIE Fighter

Thanks for all the comments! If I make the wings bigger, then I guess it has to be 2 studs because I'll have to change the 2 x 3 wedge plates to 2 x 4 instead, so that's an extra stud above and below. I'll also have to widen the wings to maintain the hexagonal shape too. I need to go look for the parts first though (no more loose 2 x 4!!) and once I do, I can post the results :)
  12. Hi all, not sure if it's been done before, but it's been bugging me why there's no microfighter TIE Fighter while there's the TIE Interceptor, so I just modded my set. Somehow always feel incomplete when I have TIEs but not the basic TIE fighter. Anyway, here's a couple of pics. I'd appreciate some comments on how I might improve the look of it so it looks like the TIE fighter but still captures the cute chibi/SD format of the microfighter. Thanks!

    UCS sticker sheet archive?

Haha, I'm just sharing the love for UCS sets, that's all. I only started collecting about 3 months back, and I have pretty much most of the UCS sets now. I didn't have the heart to actually use all the stickers, and having blank display plaques just looked weird, so I decided to scan it all and print it out (used double-sided tape to stick the printed ones to the lego tiles). I figured if I wanted to do this, I might as well see if anyone else wants it. I actually shared this on a local lego users group forum and saw this topic here as well, which is why I decided to join the forum and post (you'll note that I started posting here first). I check this forum every now and then when I found it but never actually joined cause I don't usually have anything to contribute (until now). I usually just look at everyone's amazing MOC builds and hope to one day build all the most fantastic ones (right now I really wish I can find instructions for marshal_banana's superb sandcrawler!). I already bought a couple of instructions off Anio, haha. Of course, I also have an agenda which is hoping someone would share the sticker for the plaque for the 10026, but that's just a bonus I guess. I'm just glad everyone is finding the stuff I'm sharing to be useful. :)

    UCS sticker sheet archive?

Actually, I already have the 10019, I just never placed it in the folder because the display plaque is really tiny. I've added a new folder in my dropbox containing the raw 10212 and 10030 sheets that I scanned, including my copy of the 10019 (which, in all honesty, is nowhere close to as good as the one henning found). https://www.dropbox.com/sh/sb8byvuw3i00rf6/G1BQS9vT0Y Btw, I forgot to mention this earlier, but I'm not sure whether the black background for all the display plaques are meant to be pure black, or if it's meant to be a starfield (which kind of explains why there are so many small white dots). But after printing them all out, I don't really see most of the white dots anyway.

    UCS sticker sheet archive?

Sure, go ahead and share it out. I don't really mind. I can put up the raw sticker scans for 10212 and 10030 if you want. I'll do it later when I get home. My photoshop skills are really lousy actually, haha. Just want to also point out that some of the colours are already off in the newer ones (or maybe it's meant to be), because some of the stickers I have are more green than blue, while the newer ones are more bluer. I'm just waiting to see if anyone has the 10026, cause that's the only one I'm missing (but once my parts from bricklink arrives, I'll need one for 7181 as well). I'm waiting for the generosity of others. :)
