From them I got a (used) 6880 "Surface Explorer" when I was a kid. Denmark, Fanø Island and Legoland Austria Spain Italy twice, first time Lake Garda, second Tuscany France, Orleans and Paris Most of them when I was younger, in the early to mid nineties. The most recent one was France and that was almost ten years ago. I'm from Germany btw.

    What did you buy today?

Today I bought the 8060 "Typhoon Turbo Sub" and five of the Collectable Minifigures: cowboy, diver, ninja, wrestler and clown. They're not my favourites, but ok.

    Your First LEGO Set

I'm not 100% sure, but I think my very first was 6811 "Pulsar Charger" in 1990 or 1991

    Hello everyone...

After following this site for about half a year now, I decided it's time to sign up, so ... Greetings from Germany! After 15 years my dark ages endet a year ago with a not so accidental purchase of 7683 "Fight on the Flying Wing" of the Indiana Jones series. It was not so accidental because I wanted to get at least one set of the series after I had lots of fun with the "LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures"-videogame (for Wii). Building it reminded me of how much fun LEGO is and when I found 7644 "MX-81 Hypersonic Spacecraft" on a sale... well, the rest is, as they say, history. My favourite themes at the moment are Pirates, Atlantis and Space (not necessarily in that order), but i also like City/Town and the Exclusives (if they can be seen as a theme on their own). One of my first, if not the first, sets was 6811 "Pulsar Charger" from the M:Tron line. I must have been ten or eleven years old when I got that and ever since that time almost twenty years ago M:Tron had a special place in my heart. Other things I am interested in are videogames (have a Wii and DSi), science (especialy everything space and evolution related), anime (japanese animation) and since recently I am trying my hand at stereoscopic photography (which is quite tricky when you have only one camera). I'm planning to make some anaglyph pictures of my sets and if anyone is interested I'd be happy to post them here somewhere, sometime. So much for now, see ya 'round. Oli

    REVIEW: Portal of Atlantis 8078

Thanks for this great review. This set looks awesome and the gatekeeper minifig is just great. It alone is reason enough for me to get this set.

    Hello everyone...

I didn't have that many either, mostly the small ones. My biggest M:Tron was 6923 "Particle Ionizer", which also is my alltime favourite of all LEGO-Sets ever produced and ever will be produced till the end of time. (I hope you understand what I'm trying to say here ) I did when I was young. Maybe I'll start again...
