Bootleg Super Heroes minifigs - worth it or not?

has anyone created a wiki for bootleg hero figures? i often get confused by the multiples of some figures (mainly spiderman, batman and iron man lol) and it would be good to have a place to easily identify them

I've been trying, but the sheer number of new figures coming out (and life) is making it hard to keep on top of.

Citizen Brick have done 3 or 4 sets of GOT figures. They're quite expensive though but I could see where SY would be able to take their designs.

I've been looking at those for a while, I think the "light flesh" colour will be a massive disappointment. I've made my own Ryu using flesh arms on a Luke Tatooine (from the Advent Calendar) and a decal for the face (with bandana) doesn't look too bad. Would love a SY or even a Decool set of those though

Better than I expected, but the prints are pretty off. Bizarro looks too bad to get the set for him. Not really sure if I like that Bane facemask. It is really big, but a nice addition nonetheless.

I agree for the price point they look quite nice. I think the bane mask would make a good addition to a MOC Hannibal Lecter. Only real complaint is the non backward S on the Bizarro figure.

Paint or the printing? If it's printing just use brasso. For fine detail use a pencil eraser.

I've always used 99.9% Isopropyl Alcohol on some cotton wool.

They look pretty nice. Honestly Bane's mask looks a little big for my taste, and Bizarro's emblem should be reversed, but other than that, these are great.

and that doesn't eat the plastic? in Australia rubbing alcohol is hard to get lol

Use Brasso and rub it on a cloth, no damage to the plastic
