LEGO Star Wars 3 PC question

Hi there,

I have been playing Lego Star Wars 3 on my PC and have run into an issue. On some levels the screen goes into "splitscreen" mode and when I finish off the action on one part of the screen the game seems to expect me to start up as a second player on the other side and finish that side as well. However, I am playing single-player with only one controller - is there a way to swap to the other screen without the computer assuming you are a "second" player thus requiring another controller?

I can see this would be a fun feature if two players were playing but in single player it is simply annoying.
