Purist Superhero Figures

Has anyone ever used a Flash torso for a Shazam! figure? Very similar, even though the Bolt is smaller and has a white background.

Has anyone ever tried making a hobgoblin? I am looking for parts now

The best I can think of is:

Dark blue legs

Dark tan hips

Dark tan peasants torso from the medivial market village

Dark blue arms

Dark tan hands

Grima Wormtoungue/Dark Side Book Emperor Palpatine head

Dark tan hood

Dark tan cape (short)

It's very funny that you say this. I'm going to a costume party tonight dressed as Hobgoblin.

Anyway, here's my attempt.

Both that costume and minifig are awesome.

From what I could find on Bricklink, there isn't one with a traditional eyepatch, which is extremely odd.

sorry, late response. All I know for sure is the head is Alien Avenger from CMF, hood is from the old castle theme villager or forest people, torso is from the viking theme, cape from a jedi. The arms are swapped for orange, and put green hips on orange legs, not sure of source, prob construction workers legs and arms. His flame sword is ninjago series 1, not sure which sets and the glider is real simple just the angled flag pieces, the purple plate, those purple blade things from a ninjago spinner booster pack and clips to hold it all on.

Nicely done! Elongated Man looks great too!

Anyone have a good torso to use for Shocker? I'm using this pineapple for his head.

This might be something to try. It's one of the very few yellow torsos with red printing I found on Bricklink, and it doesn't look like anybody's tried this one before. A decent alternative might be the CMF Boxer torso with some red arms to balance out the colors.

Funnily enough, the boxer torso with red arms is what I'm using right now. Not too happy with the way it looks though.

You never fail to impress, autorazr. Great job on of those, especially Clark and Lois.

EDIT: Hey, has anyone tried using these legs on the new Captain America?

Iceman

Without the neck fabric thing and the ice, this would make a perfect Dr Manhattan!
