TimBurdon Posted March 18, 2012 (edited) B-OV-28B Recently the Mount Pleasant show was on (country fair would be a northern hemisphere way of describing it), and they had an open Lego build section. The only restriction was that it had to be under 50cm square. This was my entry, which was entitled 'The Day at the Farm'. I put about 12 hours into the design and build, and ended up with first prize. Pretty chuffed about it as it was my first public showing of any of my builds. And the grand prize for first place? $3! Which I gladly donated back to the show society. After all, we build for fun, not for money. 'You want me to shovel what?!' L@go Posted March 18, 2012 Well done, I love the funny details. And congratulations on winning! There's something familiar with the guy on the lawnmower. I just can't figure out what.
Sid Sidious Posted March 18, 2012 I love the dinosaur-man head in the pond. My local county fair had an event like that, and at least half of the entries were just regular sets.
alex54 Posted March 18, 2012 Very nice farm scene! The global look is serious and realistic and you have put some nice touch of fun that make us having a more closer view on it to discover them all!
