Dunjohn Posted February 4, 2010 I have some old US stamps that I used for sending self-addressed reply envelopes to the States a few years back. I need to send some now, and I'm wondering if the stamps are still valid. I know the price has gone up, but would two of these do the job? Cheers!
Big Cam Posted February 4, 2010 To my knowledge US Stamps never expire, the value on the stamp is always honored, but usually stamp prices go up, so you need more than one. I don't know how much a letter costs from Ireland to the US, but a regular US stamp (good for any state to state letter) costs 44 cents. So it would be more than enough here but I am not sure about an international letter. You can try poking around at www.usps.com EDIT: Here is what I found. 2 of those stamps should be fine. Dunjohn Posted February 4, 2010 Cheers. Yeah, 98c is what's on most of the stuff I get sent (occasionally $1.60 if it's overweight) so I'll go ahead and use two of these. Thanks!
