[MOC] Leaving the Shire (LOTR)

Remember what Bilbo used to say: “It's a dangerous business, Frodo, going out your door. You step onto the road, and if you don't keep your feet, there's no knowing where you might be swept off to.”

 

 

This scene is about the departure of the Hobbits and includes:

- Meeting Merry and Pippin at Farmer Maggot's Fields

- The hiding from the Ringwraiths in the hollow under a tree root

- Escaping the Nazgul at the Bucklebury Ferry

 

 

In addition to all the trees, plants and animals, a total of fourteen minifigures (including a skeleton Easter Egg) have been used. Wherever possible, I‘ve included my own interpretation - e.g. recognizable by the hut near the river.

As is the case with larger buildings, I find it difficult to capture all the attention to details in a few pictures. Nevertheless, I hope that you’re able discover at least some of it BTW: This is actually an older build (about 7 years old). Unlike some others, I didn't disassemble it. Instead it has been updated with some more modern parts, colors and techniques.
