Lego H3T

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone,

Am seeking advice for wrapping up the last little details of this Hummer H3T body for JJ2's extreme 9398 chassis I never really finished up completely. Mostly the rack and the soon to be OEM styled storage bins, as trying to scale something in Lego's to look realistic can look worser than expected. Also wondering if anyone ever try 3D printing a 8 tooth gear as they always break (mostly from a Buwizz V1) in metal or for the others who've built the chassis if they've had other cost effective solutions/mods.

The chassis is awesome, and is so much fun to test its limits, but like most powerful Lego crawlers, the torque is getting lost through the lack of stiffness and # of gears needed to make it functional as is. Mostly used in thick mud bogging, and in a little stream (sooo much fun)

Anyways, the new additions are... 1. Functional tail gate 2. Properly secured to the chassis (no, the body doesn't come off like the original 9398) 3. The multi purpose safari styled roof rack 4. Able to squeeze in 120mm tires without as much fender rubbing 5. putting an actual bed in the truck

Maybe do a comparison video between this the original and the original with xl motors?

Sorry if the pic is to small, will put more pics up soon, here's a link- https://www.bricksafe.com/pages/Voodu/h3t-9398-extreme-cover-/h3t-safari-edition-

Thanks for your time everyone,

Vootu
