Maybe a new way to use part# 18588 Six Shooter Housing

When I try to modify this robot using Lego parts for working guns function (shoot-able). I want to make the minigun spin while shooting. Then I found a new way to use part# 18588 Six Shooter Housing. To make it act like a real minigun or a six revolver. Gun barrel spin and shoot with the top barrel only. The trick is to paste a thick tape inside the grey wheel and drive it by the smallest gear from inside. TLG should make a new wheel part with gear tooth inside for this minigun/revolver function.
