Zerobricks Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 (edited) Awesome mech! Ilove the transprent cyan parts, they give it a nice sci-fi high tech touch. Oh I only noticed now you actually dressed an action figure. Edited August 24, 2014 by Zblj Quote
Agent Fusion Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 The greatest hero of them all, indeed. Quote

Ilove the transprent cyan parts, they give it a nice sci-fi high tech touch.Oh I only noticed now you actually dressed an action figure. Thank you. But in reality, these transparent parts would be too noticeable. And the suit is really hidden action figure. Disappointed? The greatest hero of them all, indeed. And now he is even steeper and stronger! Great build, love the gun Nice work! Absolutely amazing! Thank you guys. Glad that you liked, I tried. Quote
Commissioner Gordon Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 I am normally skeptical of people integrating Lego with other toys but this worked out beautifully. great job! Quote
m0dulo Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 I usually don't like my projects to be a combination of things but anyone is free to be creative in their own way. If I were to use the action figure, once I had the outer shell figured out I'd go back and rebuild the frame to support it. However, Lazarev had a different intent and I think it really works well in this case. Quote
Lazarev N. Posted August 26, 2014 Author Posted August 26, 2014 I am normally skeptical of people integrating Lego with other toys but this worked out beautifully. great job! Thank you. But why not? As a child, we did not have the conventions and stereotypes. We just create and play. I usually don't like my projects to be a combination of things but anyone is free to be creative in their own way. If I were to use the action figure, once I had the outer shell figured out I'd go back and rebuild the frame to support it. However, Lazarev had a different intent and I think it really works well in this case. Thank you, too. The idea was just to connect two favorite toys from childhood. Then I could not do it. And now I have the chance.) Quote
Commissioner Gordon Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 I guess to me Lego has always seemed to be in a different world than other toys, also oftentimes when Lego is integrated with other things it feels forced. your exo-suit however fits almost seamlessly on the action figure. Quote
mccoyed Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 So cool. I totally agree with you about mixing the toys. People around here occasionally get uptight about categorization and labels the same way we nerds tend to do about anything. My advice is to ignore it. Quote
Agent Fusion Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Do they still make Action Man? Those things were the bomb. Quote

My advice is to ignore it. Now I agree that Lego should be separate, and other toys separately. But sometimes it is possible to break this "rule". Only need to do it well and balanced. Do they still make Action Man? Those things were the bomb. I do not know, perhaps no longer exists. This figure is already 10-12 years, perhaps, unsure.) Quote
samurai-turtle Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 (edited) I am wondering is that "J.I. Joe" under the LEGO? Edit - I guess it is his cousin. Edited September 1, 2014 by samuraiturtle Quote
bacem Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 i never know about action man, but this is, in my opinion, the best thing that you have done to an action figure! nice one! Quote
___ Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 I like the idea + that unseen color combination, very nice and unique to my eyes: is it your own concept or were your color combi inspired by something, hm? Quote

They are mostly grey parts with tan for the gun. The color might look different because the white balance isn't accurate. Quote
Lazarev N. Posted September 2, 2014 Author Posted September 2, 2014 I am wondering is that "J.I. Joe" under the LEGO? Edit - I guess it is his cousin. Younger brother? Probably. G.I. Joe started in 1960-1964, Action Man in 1966.) i never know about action man, but this is, in my opinion, the best thing that you have done to an action figure! nice one! Tnx.) I like the idea + that unseen color combination, very nice and unique to my eyes: is it your own concept or were your color combi inspired by something, hm? I chose the color of the ones I have more and that would be enough to build. Come and choose one of those, which are suitable for military coloring. Quote
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 Lovely work! Great use of lego pieces! Quote
Masked Builder Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 Wow. I love the angular lines this has. Only thing that could make it better is a completely LEGO frame. Quote
