jantjeuh Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 Nice truck, only the cab seems a bit strangely elongated with the front wheels placed far back, is this on purpose? Quote
TinkerBrick Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 Nice work. Kind of an old style lifting mechanism. What is the purpose of the shocks/springs above the main frame? They don't seems being compressed when the container sits on the truck. Quote
jantjeuh Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 Yes, it is :) I see, I'm not familiar with this kind of cab. Do you perhaps have a picture of the truck you based this MOC off of? Quote

They don't seems being compressed when the container sits on the truck. I thought that the full container will be too heavy, so the shock absorbers have to help pick up the container with a cargo I see, I'm not familiar with this kind of cab. In my previous MOC, a cabin was based on this Edited July 27, 2014 by legosamigos Quote
Zerobricks Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 A great model. You got a new subscriber How much can it lift? Quote
legosamigos Posted July 27, 2014 Author Posted July 27, 2014 (edited) Thank you Zblj :) The container with all pins weighs 516 grams, but I suppose is not max weight :) Edited July 27, 2014 by legosamigos Quote

Brick_Sticker Posted July 28, 2014 Posted July 28, 2014 Nicely done. The long cab looks good on that truck. Brick_Sticker Quote
Balrog Posted July 28, 2014 Posted July 28, 2014 Looks very good so far and I like the unique cab style. You could probably build an american style fire truck with that. Now you just need to make it fully remote controlled Quote

Balrog Posted July 28, 2014 Posted July 28, 2014 I had already an american style fire truck ;) I meant something like this: The cabin would work perfectly there. Quote
legosamigos Posted July 28, 2014 Author Posted July 28, 2014 Some fire truck is in building process with similar cab but it will be full manually Quote
Paul B Technic Posted July 28, 2014 Posted July 28, 2014 This is very cool, an excellent level of detail in this :) Quote
Balrog Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 Some fire truck is in building process with similar cab but it will be full manually Full manual isn't a "problem". Quote
legosamigos Posted July 29, 2014 Author Posted July 29, 2014 PF will go to tow truck, so a fire truck will be in manual version :) Quote
