Eraman Posted July 10, 2014 Author Posted July 10, 2014 (edited) Black is best... I like black a lot - most my MOCs are black (ok so are my spare pieces nearly always black ot grey) But I think it needs the bottom 7L black beam removing as it needs space for the grass to get cut and not flattened. Yes, maybe you are right, but the part limit doesn't allow me to create hole on the blade house ...the plainest one, if we say it, that the mower has back bouncer Edited July 10, 2014 by Eraman Quote
Eraman Posted July 10, 2014 Author Posted July 10, 2014 (edited) Ok maybe a half size one? It can be possible, that i don't understand exactly, what you think about? I use that "half size one" parts now on the sides(yellow parts). I thought, that your problem is, that the grass can't leave the blade house, so that's why it needs a hole on the side... In this picture you can see that i used that part what you are talking about: Edited July 10, 2014 by Eraman Quote
anton1678 Posted July 10, 2014 Posted July 10, 2014 Awesome MOC! I think it looks best in green, but black is better than red @Rockbrick, it would cut anyway because grass kind of springs back, doesn't stay flat. Quote

Rockbricker: This is a simple grasscutter: You can see , that the casing surrounds the knife totally, so there is no "tunnel" where the grass can go across straight until the blade. Rockbrick Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 Its a ground clearance issue.... Look at ride-on lawn mowers - the one you show is a push along type you can lift and push along the piece i mean is the very front lowest part the 7L in Black (to the right of your photo) below the king pins Quote

N-4K0 Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 Some lawn mowers have a bio-cut system (if that's the correct term in English), where the grass is cut and "pushed" down into the lawn. The one we have where I live is a bio-cut push mower, and the company I work for, who does various jobs on order from customers such as lawn mowing, has 2 front-cut lawn tractors which I believe are bio-cut mowers as well. Why not say it's a bio-cut lawn tractor? And there's still some clearance on the front axle, even though it's small. So problem solved Quote

Blakbird Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 Some lawn mowers have a bio-cut system (if that's the correct term in English), where the grass is cut and "pushed" down into the lawn. We usually call that a mulching mower. Quote

Eraman Posted July 19, 2014 Author Posted July 19, 2014 Hi all! Here is a short video about my mower! Quote
N-4K0 Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 (edited) Nice. I'm waiting for one more BrickLink package from Germany, which I expect on Tuesday, and then I'll build your lawn tractor It will be your original green/yellow LDD version, with some minor modification, most likely. Can't wait to see it. This is easily one of the best MINI models I have seen, but I do think it needs to be green and yellow to really stand out. Again; a great model and people are actually Bricklinking parts to build it.....need I say more Quote

During voting i hope that people don't forget the green-yellow LDD model Quote

But I will do my best not to forget Do not be grieving, neither do i It was worth it already for me that people like my tractor. (If I want to be honest, I should have bought green parts from 3-4 shops, which means 3-4 shipping prices. The hungarian(and my) salary is not enough to buy these parts with easy heart, it would not have been worth it for me. I would buy the green parts if i could do it ) Edited July 22, 2014 by Eraman Quote
N-4K0 Posted July 22, 2014 Posted July 22, 2014 (edited) Can't wait to see it If by this you mean see pics of my built version, I might have to disappoint you. I've never uploaded pics to hosting sites to post on this forum, so God knows how that would go. EDIT: and no parts today... Edited July 22, 2014 by Error404 Quote

Boulderer Posted July 25, 2014 Posted July 25, 2014 Great styling on this MOC. I love the green / yellow colour scheme. I hope someone can produce a model in that scheme for your entry. I've looked at the big brother and I really like that model Quote
