Zimix Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 Just found this on bricklink Technic, Pin with Friction Ridges Lengthwise and Pin Hole 15100 seem's new Quote
weavil Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 Yes, very new. It looks very useful. They have had useful/wanted parts in other sets before being in Technic before. Might see it in Technic sets this fall or 1st half 2015. Quote
emilstorm Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 That definedly looks useful, I could soooo use one in light grey without friction too:) Quote
TheOneVeyronian Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 Yes, this part is brand new, I was the person that added it to BL actually . I actually found it in this Chima Speedorz set (of all places!) which I bought a few weeks ago, but I don't know if this appears in any of the summer Technic sets yet. I guess time will tell. Hope this helps! Quote
Paul Boratko Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 Hopefully they make this part without friction at some point... This could be a handy piece to use with the new style hubs... Quote
OzShan Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 I've wanted these for ages! Sweet, thanks for the heads up. Quote

Bricktrain Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 needed one yesterday. I almost made one but managed to find an alternative. Could be usefull for lattice booms for cranes too. Quote
Holodoc Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 Just found this on bricklink Technic, Pin with Friction Ridges Lengthwise and Pin Hole 15100 seem's new You posted the reason why this indeed IS new in your link to Bricklink. BL says it's only included to one set released 2014 - well, then it is 99,99% new. Bricklink is fairly accurate in these issues. Good find! Quote
SNIPE Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 Nice Find, and very useful part. Frictionless pin would have been more useful since it can either spin or have more bricks added so that it doesn't spin. Also frictionless pins let you put bars, flex cables and other things inside of the pin hole, frictionless pins have a rectangular hole inside the pin. Quote
anton1678 Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 thats half of that piece, you know that frictionless full pin that light-grey one Quote
SNIPE Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 You Mean this? That is also frictional unfortunately. Quote
NXT45 Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 (edited) Wow cool! I cant wait until this is in a technic model! Just found this also. http://brickset.com/sets/containing-part-6073231 Edited June 1, 2014 by NXT45 Quote
anton1678 Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 You Mean this? That is also frictional unfortunately. Really? It seems to move so easily in the technic beam holes Quote
SNIPE Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 (edited) One of my 48889's has pins that feel frictionless but it still looks like a frictional pin Edited June 22, 2014 by SNIPE Quote
