Lego Technic Police Cars

I'm curious if anyone has worked on a police car or if TLG plans to release one in the future. I wonder why they haven't done it in technic yet. There are quite a few in the standard lego's. thoughts ?

Yes there was a modular car I think. There was also a recue helicopter and something green....A bike yes with a sidecar, which was also a hovercraft....

The official Lego police cars are like the laziest builds ever.

Let's slam on some stickers and call it a police car.

So, yes, it would be nice to see a lego technic lamborghini policecar.

Good question. I am especially sad about the missing Fire Trucks. So much opportunity for cool functions as some MOCs have already proved.

A fire truck would be a great addition! Imagine an extendible ladder and turning water hose.

There are some nice fire trucks around the world and with ladders, skylifts and outriggers there is the opportunity for many functions. The only problem for me would be the colour. I've got tons of red already. However, it's a good opportunity to include more white parts.

Well; there is indeed another "official" LEGO technic police car... or at leas a "sort of" one, since is based on a model of a Sci-Fi movie police car. The only problem with it is that TLG made only one and give it as a present to the designer of the car: Syd Mead. So here is it: A Technic Police Spinner from Blade Runner...
