Looking good LT... As i think i've said before, I love the way you combine realism with the classic open back style!! (I especially like the first pic looking down the street) Looking forward to seeing what comes next!!

Thanks 'greg3', a supermarket is next and I will start on it's interior at the same time as finishing the Toyota dealer and hardware store......don't worry I'm not planning any more hardware store like things for a little while......maybe !

Keep watching !

I love it. Again nice work LT.

The chain on a roll.... NICE!

We want more! We want more!

Thanks 'monsinjor', okay, okay I'll try and have some of the new supermarket up and running.....plus more sidewalk detailing (I hope I have the time to do that).

Any suggestions and questions are always welcome.......Keep watching everyone !

Great stuff, I especially love your interior design.

Thanks 'ER0L', I try my best and somehow I nail shop designs......I guess I might have the knack for it.

Totally keep watching......I still have a bank and hotel plus service station/roadhouse to do yet !

Thanks 'sin' and 'tomdobs55' for your comments, you can see where the sliding door to enter and exit the store is going and where the walls are going......hopefully tomorrow I'll have it all done......keep watching !

Following this topic with much interest.. I visit Mannum occasionally and will pay much more attention to the shops next time .. What will you do with it when complete? Surely an opportunity to show it off in a shop or visitor center in the street is on the radar? So fancy doing a Lego Murray Princess? or the ferry? Looking good buddy. I don't think an Elizabeth town center will have the same effect! Great stuff.

Well, thanks......it's really based on the actual town.......here's the story, my family first came to South Australia in 1840 and went straight to Mannum to help build the town.....so I create a town why not name it new something......because it's new.

Currently I'm working on the supermarket and totally should be completed tomorrow.....keep watching !

Oh, I was planning a ferry.....but have never got around to designing it........and this is a train display layout.....every two years at Golden Grove Arts Centre.

Thanks 'timmy'.....try 45 tomorrow and 46 the next day......my bricks are okay in the heat.

Hopefully tomorrow I'll try to start on a new bank structure.........should it be modern or Victorian-era stone structure ?

Wow that's hot!

Awesome work on the market, interior details are spot on and the sliding door is a great touch.

Thanks 'sin', I took the interior of the IGA and modified it into a Foodland......well since all Foodland's in South Oz are linked the IGA logo too.

I'm going to create some fresh minifigs for staff shortly, but for now I will start work on the bank building......though still tossing up really old or really new/modern bank building design ?

Keep watching ! :classic:

Poor you with 42°C. Try having 5°C like over here.

Great work on the street though. I'm always inspired by your builds, as you come up with such great techniques and make such realistic builds without that many parts.

Thanks for the kind words 'The Player No1' and 'Captain Settle', now you 'Captain' must be having an English heatwave....5 degrees C eh ?

Try 45 today, 46 tomorrow......and I think my Lego is still good.....no melting yet !

Keep watching for the bank shortly...

Alright, I love the hardware store and everything in it. That supermarket is great though! so much detail. What I really like is the street lights, and what I'm assuming is a trashbin down the road. Can we get a better pic of that? I'd love to see how its done.
