piterx Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 Hi guys! As i run out of motors and lipo batteries, due to the trophy truck still mounted and the snowmobile wich im going to publish in a week or so, i decided to build a small scaled supercar... It has HOG steering, fake V8 engine and differential...and the usual by now tubolar chassis XD if i have to be sincere im not that happy with this model and i was about not to publish it....mainly because it's not remotely controlled and also because, in such a small scale, is hard making all the details of a supercar...but i've spent some time on it so here it is... i hope you'll like it :) Quote
legolijntje Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 Well, it looks quite good and you really captured the basic lines of a car, even on this scale. Good job The only thing I think would be nice, is a little more cover on the hood. Quote
Kronos Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 Nice car piterx! Good detail for the scale. Pretty cool to see the "old" style panels in a new build. Great job! Mike Quote

Jim Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 Don't be too hard on yourself! I think it looks great. And I think the back of the car is awesome. Nice photography btw!! Quote
Gee Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 Seconded. Looks pretty cool to me. I like the studded plate in the back, sets it off nicely. Quote
gazumpty Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 This has really captured the clean lines and detail of the 360...great work. I especially love the rear and the use of the plates and tiles :D Quote
LegoPanda Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 (edited) wow, it looks great, well detailed and actually pretty cute at this scale Edited December 11, 2013 by LegoPanda Quote
Alasdair Ryan Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 Nice looking car,did you try using some of the small red panels inside the outline of the hood? Quote
piterx Posted December 11, 2013 Author Posted December 11, 2013 yeah tried also those new tiny panels...everything i added was making it look heavy....maybe i should also take away all those 2l pin connectors on the flexible axles...hmmm Quote
Madoca 1977 Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 Nice car! I think the combination of those pin connectors and flexible axles may become the new standard for building supercars. The thickness of connectors make bodylines look more seamless. Quote
skppo Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 Just how high are your guises standards? This is propably the nicest looking studless technic car I've seen in this scale! If this isn't good enough for publishing then I guess I'll go cry in the corner and look at my builds Quote
Zerobricks Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 Its so organic and smooth, awesome, especially at this sscale. Quote
Seasider Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 Looks pretty cool ... Could Do with something to partially cover the bonnet in my opinion but the back looks fantastic Why does everything need to be powered ? Or am I just old school ? Quote
TinkerBrick Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 Nice little car. The only thing i kind of dislike is the fake engine. The cylinders just look too disproportionate. How about an engine like in the 9393 B-Model? Quote

If this isn't good enough for publishing then I guess I'll go cry in the corner and look at my builds thank you guys you're all so nice! but i don't know! there's something wrong with the front bumper that i really don't like but i can't say what it actually is.... i think that tomorrow i'll try putting my hands on it again Nice little car. The only thing i kind of dislike is the fake engine. The cylinders just look too disproportionate. How about an engine like in the 9393 B-Model? yeah i agree with that...but i won't dismount em im just too lazy XD Looks pretty cool ... Could Do with something to partially cover the bonnet in my opinion but the back looks fantastic Why does everything need to be powered ? Or am I just old school ? it's more challenging dealing with performances and weight distributions :D Quote
Junpei Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 Nice clean lines! But I agree with TinkerBrick, you should probably make the engine smaller. Quote
Technyk32231 Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 Wow... That bodywork is better than what I could do even on a large-scale supercar. Quote
Paul B Technic Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 Very well done, some excellent detail in this. Quote
Nike 2101 Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 Nice looking car! But i think that are no functions like suspention. I really pleased to see that scale and think its one whith my lambo, i want to seen their together)) Quote
piterx Posted December 12, 2013 Author Posted December 12, 2013 yeah there aren't suspensions mainly because the wheel would have touched the flexible axle over it :) Quote
