Petter Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 (edited) Hi! I've been a member here for a while, and I'm amazed by the creations all of you guys come up with! I didn't really care about LEGO Technic when I was a child, but two years ago (I'm 24 years old now) I bougth a Technic set on impulse, and I was sold. I've built a couple of MOCs the past years, but none of them turned out to be really great. Almost a year ago I got inspired by Far Cry 3, and created a buggy from the game. A week ago I wanted to improve it, and here is the result: No advanced technical solutions in this model, my focus was on the looks of the car. Suspension on all four wheels, working steering wheel in the cabin and HoG steering ( the spare wheel on the roof). are the only functions. I'm not able to add more pictures here ( because this is my first post here, maybe?), but you can see more on http://mocpages.com/moc.php/375682. Jim Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 Wow, that is one good lucking buggy! The HoG steering with the spare tire is a great find. And welcome (sort of hehe) to EB Quote
skriblez Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 Very nice looking buggy :) Welcome to EB and hi to a fellow Norwegian :) Quote
Doc_Brown Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 WOW this is really really nice! Refreshing to see no PF. Great first post and welcome here. I'm a big fan of far cry 3 as well. Quote
Seasider Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 ooooooh I love the buggy Do you have an LDD model of it as I'd love to build a copy ? Quote
Zerobricks Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 Looks great, but does the front suspension bar hold? Quote
Lakop Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 That's a nice model man. I like your steering. H Quote
Energo Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 Ya, very cool MOC. Very accurate and realistic. Quote
Petter Posted December 3, 2013 Author Posted December 3, 2013 Thanks, everyone! Looks great, but does the front suspension bar hold? . The shock towers bend slightly inwards when suspension is compressed, and the axles pop out once in a while, so it's not a ideal setup. Quote
legomuppet9 Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 Nice buggy, really like the clean design Quote
