The model is listed on architecture.lego.com, and there's no "Design the Model" section on the website or in the instructions. I wonder if this one was all done in-house by a TLG designer instead of Tucker, Kobe, or Hepp - probably Steen Sig Andersen if I had to guess. Quote
xinbei Posted December 24, 2013 Posted December 24, 2013 I like this set! Hopefully there will be a big discount in Amazon soon... Quote
DoctorKairam Posted December 24, 2013 Posted December 24, 2013 Another nice Architecture set which I will add to my collection. Quote
rollermonkey Posted December 25, 2013 Posted December 25, 2013 (edited) Oops. Thought I was looking at a Marina Bay Sands topic for a second. Edited December 25, 2013 by rollermonkey Quote
gregrichards Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 Lego architecture Eiffel Tower is now available at the lego store at least here in the UK for £29.99. I am tempted to buy Parisian Restaurant to complete it. http://shop.lego.com/en-GB/The-Eiffel-Tower-21019?p=21019#shopxlink Quote
rollermonkey Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 Interesting build, particularly since it's all hinges and swivel-plates at the bottom, the lowest legs can sort of 'dance' as you place the top level on, if you place too much lateral pressure at the upper level. I like it, and I wonder if enough of these pieces are available in brick red and/or white so I could MOC up Tokyo Tower using this as a guide. ;) Quote
Herky Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 After building now, I agree with rollermonkey, the build is wobbly, you don't want to really touch it once you are done and it is straight and in place, put it up high so no one bumps it or you will have the Eiffel Tower of Pisa with a lean to it...not sure why they did it this way, but was disappointed that it was a build that didn't feel firm. rollermonkey Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 Mine doesn't move unless I really push on it... I wouldn't call it wobbly as much as it's surprisingly flexible for an iron tower. ;) Quote
