I don't get why there is this "security"-slope.

Either it is a maintenance vehicle, or security. The blue vehicle looks more like maintenace, the second more like emergency. But security?

Or is there an equivalent IRL?

In France, "Security" is written on each side and "Services" on the doors. These trucks are used for maintenance, but in case of accident too.

Nice Work. Lime Green would look nice as well and it would be similar to the roadway safety trucks in my area. Although the maintenance trucks are traditional safety yellow.

Very creative to "remake" an old set from the 1980's, and it looks wonderful too.
