I have hundreds (literally!)... Any ideas what I can do with them?

They're an annoying piece that I feel I should be able to something with... But have no idea!

Any help?

p.s. I have no idea whether this is the correct forum as there are far too many forums to choose from!

You can always use them as to make a road if you dont mind having some studs on top. I however, used them to place my moc buildings on baseplates so that the building can easily be removed without destroying it for easy storage. For example, I built a farm on a 32x32 baseplate with a windmill and a barn. I used several green and tan plates for the grass and dirt and the minifigure base plates/stands to rest the barn and windmill on so i can remove them with ease when i want to store so that i can remove the buildings while keeping the rest of the entire farm moc intact.

Alternatively if you have a modular building you can use them as tiling for the interior floors as the studs will allow you to put furniture in and stand minifigures without them moving about. Also if the roof of your modular building is flat you can use it to tile the top.

P.s. I should of asked this first but are these the black stands that you get in the minifigure series minifigs that you are referring to?

Thanks Kermit. Yes, they are the black stands.

I like the idea of putting them under the buildings... this would help with wiring lights into buildings!

If you don't want them I'd take them.

Roof pieces.

I considered that, Couldn't see how you would do a straight edge, i.e. there are no 'half sizes' that would fill the gap at the ends.

use 2x4 or even 2x2 tiles at the edges. the edge pieces on the next line will be attached anyway.

You could send them to me :D

I like using these for windows together with jumper plates:

I use them as their intended purpose. I have 100s of figures sitting on them.

But for other ideas, it seems a lot were mentioned already. I've seen them used as sidewalks, streets, rooftops, etc. I've seen one or a couple used as a top for a 18th century carriage. It seemed to work really well there.
