Alasdair Ryan Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 If you are using LDD I would stop using it as It as not got all the required parts for your model. Go to Ldraw.org and download the new parts update and follow the instruction I posted in your reply over in the Digital design section. Quote
piterx Posted May 10, 2013 Author Posted May 10, 2013 nono it's not LDD it's Ldraw :) i've just read that but now im going out....ill have to focus a moment when i get back to understand exactly what i have to do :P thank you anyway ^^ Quote
captainmib Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 A week? I can wait that long. Your video showed even more how awesome this model is. I really want to build the gearbox to see how it works. To bad i don't have L/servo motor(s) Quote
piterx Posted May 10, 2013 Author Posted May 10, 2013 A week? I can wait that long. Your video showed even more how awesome this model is. I really want to build the gearbox to see how it works. To bad i don't have L/servo motor(s) if you can't wait i can give you the ldraw file once is finished btw the gearbox is based on the brilliant concept of sheepo...but the mechanism that activates it is different....smaller and less precise but good enough to be funny to use :P and i dont think you actually need a servo you can also adapt an M motor...there's enough space to do it :) Quote
technicman97 Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 I have to admit this is a very realistic car! But what did you used for the mudguards? Quote
piterx Posted May 10, 2013 Author Posted May 10, 2013 Dunno :P theres still space to add led lights and the gears to make the steering wheel spin Some rubber but its not an important part :) Quote
piterx Posted May 22, 2013 Author Posted May 22, 2013 (edited) oh yeah! im making them :) today i've finished the gearbox....so it's all downhill from here :P i cant dedicate too many hours on making instructions but ill finish them for sure ^.^ Edited May 22, 2013 by piterx Quote
bord4kop Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 (edited) Excellent work! Beautiful car! Great and many good functions, I bow deeply to your skills! Edited May 25, 2013 by bord4kop Quote
jojo1997 Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 first I see this car I think it's the car from nico71. Quote
piterx Posted June 9, 2013 Author Posted June 9, 2013 (edited) ok, after soo many weeks i've decided to give up making the instructions. this happends for some reasons: - time - im building other things - i have no idea on how to make the flexible axles - it's extremely boring i apologize for promising something that i wasn't able to provide Edited June 9, 2013 by piterx Quote
Kit Fisto Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 May I ask you to share the gearbox instructins? It looks like you've finished this part already :) Quote
piterx Posted June 9, 2013 Author Posted June 9, 2013 yeah that's exactly what im doing ^.^ i will make a video to explain it and i'll share the file :) even because that gearbox has a nice solution to hold the axle for the steering rack Quote
captainmib Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 Ah man, that's just sad. I was looking forward to them. Guess i will have to reverse engineer it then... Good luck on your other projects. Quote
piterx Posted June 9, 2013 Author Posted June 9, 2013 eh man im sorry :\ it's really a mess doing that! anyway im about to share the most interesting part :P Quote
cgg199 Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 He's not making them anymore. They take too much effort, and I respect him for even giving it a go. It's a daunting task. Quote
piterx Posted July 27, 2013 Author Posted July 27, 2013 :) yeah guys....instruction for this vehicle were taking really too much time! but im making instructions for the polaris 4x4 if you're interested ^^ Quote
Cyclotron102 Posted July 29, 2013 Posted July 29, 2013 Hi, its great car. Do you have a file just for the gearbox, or just the switching mechanism? Quote
