8BrickMario Posted June 12, 2013 Posted June 12, 2013 I'm confused? Use them to make your own personal checklist in your signature like TrumpetKing above. -Sci That was...fast. You can see I've used one in my sig. Can't wait to see more pics and the subsequent emotes! Quote
Dorayaki Posted June 12, 2013 Posted June 12, 2013 I saved it! here you are This pic is possibly true, or very close to the fact since we know TLC make similar minifigs to save money or help those who didn't get the original minifigs they wanted. This Scientist looks very like the Nurse in a far view. They should at least use other hair pieces like Will Tuner's or Stephenie's in dark olive. Quote
8BrickMario Posted June 12, 2013 Posted June 12, 2013 This is supposedly real, but I didn't see it anywhere on the Hothbricks page we were given a link to. How do we know it's real? Illarion Posted June 12, 2013 Posted June 12, 2013 This is supposedly real, but I didn't see it anywhere on the Hothbricks page we were given a link to. How do we know it's real? Blue ice-cream. I don't think that is possible ti make it on your own. Quote
8BrickMario Posted June 12, 2013 Posted June 12, 2013 (edited) I concede, but I was asking why someone said the photo was real and linked us to the Hothbricks page, where it said absolutely nothing to prove his point. The Girls' LEGO magazine says they will be a September release. With that and the Ewok Village....ugh. This year is killing my money. Edited June 12, 2013 by 8BrickMario Quote
CM4Sci Posted June 12, 2013 Author Posted June 12, 2013 Nothing in the original/boy magazine. -Sci Quote
8BrickMario Posted June 12, 2013 Posted June 12, 2013 (edited) P.S. This series allows for some terrible puns, one of which is in my sig! Yeti-Coolest minifig Gingerbread Man-Sweetest minifig! Nothing in the original/boy magazine. -Sci Not really a surprise, as September's a while away now. LEGO is just giving us a mean teaser. We all want to see more, but it's going to take some time. Any way to contact the person who took the photo of the first five? Edited June 12, 2013 by 8BrickMario Quote
commodore_legolas Posted June 12, 2013 Posted June 12, 2013 Any way to contact the person who took the photo of the first five? Good idea! Is there a way? I'd like to ask him for: Mountain Climber, Grandma, Holiday Elf, Scarecrow, Tiki Warrior. Quote
Illarion Posted June 12, 2013 Posted June 12, 2013 http://m.vk.com/lego_hit Here you can see LOTR picture (look at ghost's warriors heads), and more photo of LEGO minifigures 11series. Quote
DraikNova Posted June 12, 2013 Posted June 12, 2013 Okay, the welder's mask is my new favorite mold. The mecha seems like a new favorite fig as well, which has a lot to do with that awesome torso armor recolor . He seems like a bit of a cyclops actually, what with that red line in the middle of his face . The lady robot...meh, not too good. The scientist seems like a great fig (neon green and light blue vials!), however. And the yeti seems excellent, what with that cartoonish "grumpy" look. And the ice cream. I haven't seen that part in quite a while actually. Was it discontinued or something? Quote
jade-sabre Posted June 12, 2013 Posted June 12, 2013 I don't think anyone has mentioned that the "Evil-Mech" is another Blacktron figure...check out the triforce symbol on his chest. Also, I think Space builders will have a heyday with the Welder parts as greblings. Quote
Borex Posted June 12, 2013 Posted June 12, 2013 Not really interested in the scientist, but the others look great! really anxious to see the likes of holiday elf, tiki warrior, jazz musician and scarecrow (will there be in future series a dorothy, a lion and a tin man?) Quote

8BrickMario Posted June 12, 2013 Posted June 12, 2013 Yeah, nothing new except for the counterparts image. I was hoping for more minifigs revealed! I don't think anyone has mentioned that the "Evil-Mech" is another Blacktron figure...check out the triforce symbol on his chest. I'm sorry to say, but everyone has noticed that! scarecrow (will there be in future series a dorothy, a lion and a tin man?) That would require a license. It'll most likely be a more generic autumn scarecrow. And the ice cream. I haven't seen that part in quite a while actually. Was it discontinued or something? No, but it's very rare. It most recently appeared in the Town Hall, in its previously only color, trans-flourescent yellow. First time in trans-blue, though. I'm starting to like the Female Scientist more. Her trans-neon green bottle looks just as poisonous as the trans-flourescent green one first seen with the Crazy Scientist. I like the blue one, too, both look dangerous and great to use in a creepy laboratory scene. I don't know why a few people say she's a counterpart to the Crazy Scientist. because she seems perfectly sane. She's just a different type of scientist. I am guessing her valued accessories will increase her rarity, though. I like the Gingerbread Man, but the message on his cup makes it seem a little dark if you think about it. I'll give him the candy cane if the Elf has one. Quote
fred67 Posted June 12, 2013 Posted June 12, 2013 (edited) I don't like that gingerbread man - personally, I'd have liked it better with a normal minifigure head. It just looks weird, but I'm glad you all like it (sounds like it's what you were hoping for). The Yeti is OK; the icicle ice pop ruins it for me. I guess I'd rather have a mean one. I like the scientist and welder the most, so far. The robot and mech are decent collectibles and counter parts to earlier figures, so that's cool. I'm a bit underwhelmed. With the series passing 10, with the crap assortment in the boxes, and with cost of living rising far greater than my pay over the past five years, I may give up on CMFs. Probably not... but 10 is a nice, round number. EDIT: BTW, Wizard of Oz (the book) is in the public domain. But, then again, so is little red cap (little red riding hood), and they couldn't bring themselves to call that figure what it was... still, they made it. Edited June 12, 2013 by fred67 Quote
8BrickMario Posted June 12, 2013 Posted June 12, 2013 I guess you're right, but I wouldn't really like Oz-type minifigs, as they aren't classic fairy tale elements, or that interesting to me. Quote
Mr. Elijah Timms Posted June 12, 2013 Posted June 12, 2013 The Popsicle has been available in no less than 6 colors, and this will be the 7th. And whether or not one would call it rare depends on, well, the magnitude of his or her collection. FWIW you can get the trans-yellow one right now in 60014 Coast Guard Patrol. Quote
8BrickMario Posted June 12, 2013 Posted June 12, 2013 I didn't take the time to look it up on Bricklink. I didn't ever see it in another color than trans-neon green, so I assumed it was the only color. Quote
strangely Posted June 12, 2013 Posted June 12, 2013 That would require a license. It'll most likely be a more generic autumn scarecrow. Actually the wonderful wizard of Oz (The book) is in the public domain. So no license required. They just couldn't use movie copyrighted elements like the green witch or ruby slippers. Honestly I sort of wonder why Lego doesn't do more fantasy story minifigures as most of those stories are in the public domain. Some Wonderland themed figures would be neat. Quote
commodore_legolas Posted June 12, 2013 Posted June 12, 2013 scarecrow (will there be in future series a dorothy, a lion and a tin man?) They just couldn't use movie copyrighted elements like the green witch They did make this: http://www.brickset.com/detail/?Set=8684-4 Quote
8BrickMario Posted June 12, 2013 Posted June 12, 2013 (edited) Witches are commonly green, it's not specific to Oz. Can we get back to Series 11, please? Edited June 12, 2013 by 8BrickMario Quote
strangely Posted June 12, 2013 Posted June 12, 2013 They did make this: http://www.brickset....ail/?Set=8684-4 It's not an MGM Oz specific witch. Also it's not the same shade of green (Which apparently when Disney made the recent Oz movie they had to consult their lawyers to make sure their shade of green was different enough from the MGM version). I'm also a little bummed that we're up to series 11 and still haven't seen any new leg elements (at least nothing impressive). I was sort of hoping to see the long legs piece used a few times. I was also hoping for a new dress element as that slope brick they currently use is a bit too repetitive for my tastes (Variety would be nice). Quote
8BrickMario Posted June 12, 2013 Posted June 12, 2013 No new leg elements have been introduced exclusively for the theme, but I wish they were. So far, we have the....mermaid tail, slope brick, and snake tail. I agree, we need more lower half alternatives. Quote
strangely Posted June 12, 2013 Posted June 12, 2013 Really I don't see why they couldn't be making new leg elements. I mean they make new pieces at every opportunity they get. It's just a little weird that despite all the new heads, hats, hair and accessories they still haven't done any new leg elements. Well if this theme goes on long enough we're bound to see something. I also wouldn't mind a leg length between the normal and child legs. I really hope they release more pictures soon. I'm hoping the jazz musician is playing a saxophone (I would like a molded piece for this). In general I'm just excited about the possibility of a new instrument. Quote
