1gor Posted September 12, 2019 Posted September 12, 2019 Idea is very good. Months ago I was thinking that (based on license) we could expect / hope for Liebherr mining truck to fit R9800 based on 94.3 (Unimog tires) with same motorized functions as 42030 B model (just use new PU from 42099 set) and new big linear actuators from R9800 Quote

efferman Posted September 13, 2019 Author Posted September 13, 2019 cool, but i think i will go more technic style to fit the 42100 Quote
efferman Posted September 14, 2019 Author Posted September 14, 2019 This would be the wheelbase and trackwidth when i use the T284 Dimensions. Iam not sure if i use setup because the outer tires wouldnt take any load and i want load on any wheel. Quote
Zerobricks Posted September 14, 2019 Posted September 14, 2019 I think using Rims from the Defender for inside wheels would help offset the weight to the outer ones. Quote
efferman Posted September 14, 2019 Author Posted September 14, 2019 @Zerobricks This would be a easy solution. Do you know the offset? Quote

efferman Posted September 14, 2019 Author Posted September 14, 2019 following the pictures you are right. looks more or less like this in offset. Quote

Yup, and you have 6 holes, so you can use the 3 remainig to fill them with pins and pulley wheels. Also dont forget to put and axle 8 with stop inside the defender's rim to hold it all together even better. Quote
efferman Posted September 14, 2019 Author Posted September 14, 2019 unfortunately not available yet. Thought i would have done it till my Liebherr comes Quote

One thing, the cross shaped axle holder is aligned with pinholes, so it should be offset by half a stud in the right. Otherwise the wheel would not fit the planetary hub. Quote
efferman Posted September 14, 2019 Author Posted September 14, 2019 (edited) The Pinhole connector and axlehole section has the same dimension like every unimog rim. so it would fit. Small update: Edited September 14, 2019 by efferman Quote
