It happened to me as well! I tried a few times and it didn't change so I didn't submit at all... :cry_sad:

same to me.

I tried twice and got the page not found, so I think my submission never reached the judges.

I see lot of problems on the lego website recently. I think they should hire (or replace) a/the webmaster

Ditto -- the administration of the Lego Technic Challenge has been horrid all year (contestants unable to enter, confusing deadlines, missing information, multiple instances of plagiarism, etc.).

Nevertheless, there are many fine Unimogs on the Voting page -- only a few days left to choose your favorite:

Have you noticed, that TLG didn't anounced the winner of the Technic Challenge for September?

There is already voting for 2011 winner, and submittions are from March till August. Weird!

I think that the winner of this Challenge only wins the Unimog, were as the winner of the year gets the hole year worth of Technic.

Because he or she already wins the Unimog, they are not applicable for the even bigger prize ?

On this Lego Technic Challenge webpage, the winner of the September 2011 "Build Your Own M-B Unimog" is victor288596 ! :classic: I had the privilege of meeting Victor and his dad at last weekend's Brickcon 2011 in Seattle. His Unimog (pictured below) was there for 10,300 visitors to admire! Congrats, Victor!

"This Truck-Trial worthy U500 is built for repairing telephone poles and other work where a robot arm is needed. RC functions include drive, steering, 2-speed gearbox, compressor, front and rear PTO's, and front and rear PPTO's. Other functions include 2 bed PTO's, 2 bed PPTO's, pendular suspension."

Prize: :cry_happy:

Well.. I guess its kind of late but I have been busy lately. Here was my submission to the lego contest. I guess it was too extreme for their taste and I guess it could be considered NOT-Unimog but at least it was fun to build. It has all-wheel drive, flexible suspension, independent front and back steering, Turning crane, rising and lowering crane, extending crane, adjustable counterweight, and working crane cable. And everything is remote controlled.

This is my creation for Technic Challenge. The official description for content:

"New special tracked version of Unimog for the hardest tasks where wheels cannot stand. Presented with excavator (rear) and front-loader (front) attachments. Remote controlled model with 4 motors: left/right track, back PTO (turntable) and pneumatic compressor with front/rear switch in the cabin."

I wanted to make a compact model so there was limited space. I managed to build-in 4 remote controlled M motor (with functions described above), battery box and front/rear pneumatic switch. It has 5 pneumatic functions. Front bumper must be removed to attach front attachment.

I will post more pictures later.

This was my entry, based off the UT-90 concept.

I used the U20 cab design

IR drive, PTO, 1 aux connection

Compressor

8110 compatible attachment points (they sit 2 bricks lower then 8110)

Bed dump (but not with the winch attached) uses LA driven by PTO drive train

needs a bit of work still

WOW this looks really awesome!
