Or are you just looking for an excuse to get a bunch of unique pirates? 1.) Pirate Ship Costume 2.) Governor’s Daughter 3.) Pirate Fairy 4.) Pirate Queen 5.) Red Imperial Solider 6.) Zombie Governor 7.) Ship Collector (builtable ship 8.) Cyborg Pirate 9.) Kraken Costume Fan 10.) Islander King (i knwo it won’t be Kiley in 2020s as there are no islanders included in any sets due to ethnically stereotypes 11.) Siren 12.) Sea Witch This is a variety I would like to see. Of course, some pirates fans won’t’ want zombies or cyborgs. But jsut like Space CMF series, Space fans were disappointed. I truly don’t mind the diversity of speicial themed CMF series. Quote
Lion King Posted August 28 Posted August 28 It has been a decade since Halloween Series 14 was released and we don’t get another one. There are a few minifigures that we don’t get yet like: Grim Reaper Angel Costume (new hair with halo attached) Zombie Samurai Vampire Lady (with a new bat mold) Headless Horseman (with a black foal) Two-headed Mutant is there anything you want to see in another ideal Halloween series?? Some of these are easy enough to make out of existing parts, but unique versions would be fantastic. From your list: Grim Reaper Headless Horseman Vampire Lady (there's actually a very cute one with the new haunted house 3-in-1 set) I would also love to see: Bride of The Monster Ghost Bride Gravedigger Evil Scarecrow Gruesome Vampire (a la Count Orlok) Pumpkinhead (a monster or character with a jack-o-lantern for a head) Zombie Cowboy Dark Fairy Monster Costume Kid I could keep going. Also i forgot to include a minifigure that pays tribute to the old theme - Monster Fighter! I still can’t believe we don’t get another Halloween themed series after a decade…. Quote

A lot has happened in the intervening decade and a half, especially regarding what is acceptable in terms of representation, in terms of cultural appropriation, and Lego’s own policies in those regards. What was acceptable in early CMF series may not apply now. On 8/28/2025 at 10:57 PM, Lion King said: Now that you mentioned it, I would love to see Arabian pirate, such as Sinbad! You can do a lot with putting alternate heads & a turban on the existing ‘swashbuckler’ figure. Makes a pretty good Sinbad, especially for fans of the Harryhausen movies. Quote

I would love to see more Islanders and Native American minfigiures in unlicensed CMF and/or sets. I can understand that Lego wants to respect their cultures and won’t do anything ethical steretypes. That said, they haven’t shown up in CMF for ages. Quote

I also think one of the ongoing challenges there is that - even if they did have ideas and designs to include more figures from those cultures - the ongoing use of yellow as a ‘standard’ skin tone. I always love collecting minifigures from non-licensed series. Yellow skin is easily recognized as Lego’s icon but i see where you are standing at. Quote

I like the fact that several so far make use of the ‘mouth’ as the opening for the minifig face, it makes them much more useful in customs and to use elsewhere. Surprised that the peacock head is a single mould - I assumed they’d somehow use a hole and an existing accessory for the crest. Quote
Roebuck Posted September 13 Posted September 13 TBD unlicensed in May next year, not sure what that mean, I hope it is a normal series with something for everyone. Quote

I can’t wait for another non-licensed series in May, although it’s still TBD. I mean, we have one nomral nonlicsned series, one “so-called” F1 CMF, and one licensed this year. It’s easy to assume that we gonna get a nomral nonlicsned series, after the special-themed non-licensed series. Quote

Accio Lego Posted September 15 Posted September 15 After series 26 was Space themed there weren’t any space characters in series 27 (the closest being the jet-pack racer), so I wouldn’t be surprised if the May series doesn’t have any animal costumes (with maybe an exception for a new Dino costume since the January series doesn’t seem to have one). Hopeful news for those of us who want actual animals and other new accessories in a cmf. Quote
