GuiliuG Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 Hello everybody ! I have just finished my new creation, a mobile crane ! I started to create it on january first. The crane is not really perfect, i know it perfectly but i run out of pieces to do really better and i did not have the experience to do better. And here is the gallery : Mygallery brickshelf And here is the video : I hope you like it anyway and i listen to your advice to improve a lot of things for a future mobile crane Quote
efferman Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 looks good. on the first view i have only one hint for you. Dont pull a rope over a sharp edge (at the end of the boom) Quote
Stank Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 Pretty well made!I like it very much! Lack of pieces and experience and you made such an awesome MOC! Quote
Zerobricks Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 Great MOC, especially with limited parts! Looks almost offcial! Quote
buddy Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 Great MOC! It looks good, even more so considering that you had a limited selection of parts. Very well done. ~buddy~ Quote
DarkShadow73 Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 Very nice indeed! Like the use of differentials at all 3 axles. Quote
dhc6twinotter Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 Looks great! Very nice build for somebody with limited pieces and experience. Quote
Milan Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 I like your chassis very much. AWD and AWS are great touch on that scale. Quote
GuiliuG Posted January 25, 2011 Author Posted January 25, 2011 Thanks you very much everydoby ! Quote
Erik Leppen Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 I like this. It looks very mobile crane-ish :P What I like most is how all wheels are steered and driven. I think that's what makes this stand from the rest. And also the building style of the whole thing looks a lot like that of official sets. Including the blue seats :D If there's a point of critique I think it's the fact that the outriggers, when retracted, almost touch the ground. However finding the right geometry for this is pretty difficult. All in all very well done :) Quote
Out of Sight Posted January 28, 2011 Posted January 28, 2011 (edited) This IS how the 8053 should look like...You need to work for LEGO. Wow..I thought this is a new official set that I have missed! Very nice, I like your subtle use of panels..makes for a smoother looking model, AWS and AWD makes for a solid complexity which is needed for something of this size. Great job!
