Meatman Posted December 23, 2010 Posted December 23, 2010 As long as we're speculating on what "Cruiser" means, how about a Vista Cruiser! LOL. I actually was thinking the same thing because I loved watching That 70's Show Quote
rgbrown Posted December 23, 2010 Posted December 23, 2010 As long as we're speculating on what "Cruiser" means, how about a Vista Cruiser! Just as long as it's not one of these!: Quote
Front Posted December 23, 2010 Posted December 23, 2010 Arrggh all you guys Europeans are so lucky..i've been wanting to attend that Toyfair! My wife will be visting Europe but in March..sigh. In the meantime I'll get a few locally available sets. I've been eyeballing the 8265 Loader, to assist my 8043 shoving Lego bricks around my work desk The toy fair (Nürnberg) is for business visitors only. You can't attend as a regular visitor. I have been to it though, and it's really huge. I think there might not be any top-Technic set in 2011. Haven't seen anything about one yet. Quote
dr_spock Posted December 23, 2010 Posted December 23, 2010 I think a lowloader would be great. It'll save me the trouble of having to MOC one for my 8043. Quote
JunkstyleGio Posted December 23, 2010 Posted December 23, 2010 I think there might not be any top-Technic set in 2011. Haven't seen anything about one yet. And why do you think that? All the flagshipmodels (8297, 8258 and 8043) have been presented there in the last three years.... Quote
grohl Posted December 24, 2010 Posted December 24, 2010 My wishes are: Jet plane Helicopter Space Shuttle Sweeper Walking Excavator Scraper Asphalt finisher Biplane Quote
BasOne Posted December 24, 2010 Posted December 24, 2010 Well.... Thinking about a new excavator, how about the Demag HD800 But what i'd realy like to see, bisides the return of the Technic figures, would be technic Sci-Fi models. All technic models are 'real' models, i'd like to see a technic space theme or something like this in technic: Quote
Rijkvv Posted December 24, 2010 Posted December 24, 2010 And why do you think that? All the flagshipmodels (8297, 8258 and 8043) have been presented there in the last three years.... Besides of that, these were all released in the second half. And I haven't seen pictures of the second half yet. @Blakbird: maybe it depends on the person what is recognizable. I was only a few years old when I saw a sideloader (and saw it for many times) and didn't see a telehandler before I was 12. But I have to admit, this would be more suitable as an AFOL moc subject, than recognizable for the average kid. Well, from 2005 until now every uneven year there was a big TECHNIC set, studded and studless combined. I'll cross my fingers and hope they will continue this... Quote
davidmull Posted December 25, 2010 Posted December 25, 2010 As seen in other tread from the 2h2011 pics the unimog looks great but does anyone think it is the flagship? Quote
Zerobricks Posted December 25, 2010 Posted December 25, 2010 It has to be, its the largest of the lot. Quote
