rk8 Posted April 23 Posted April 23 Hello all! I was curious if anyone had some tips or a blueprint for making a banana made out of LEGOs? There is a career field in the Air Force (2M0X2) that get called LEGO stackers. They are also called missile monkies. So I would like to make a banana made out of LEGOs to put in a case for a mentor's retirement. I am not a LEGO builder and have zero experience outside of a kit I could buy with clear instructions from a store. I reached out to LEGO for an assist and they pointed me to the forums. Quote

Found this on reddit The pictures in the article below might also provide some ideas for how to build a Lego banana. https://www.abc.net.au/news/2016-01-01/missing-lego-banana-artwork-recovered-north-of-townsville/7062166 Edited April 23 by SpacePolice89 Quote
BrickBob Studpants Posted April 23 Posted April 23 Seriously though, does it have to be life-size? If not, there are a few sets that have banana builds that you can modify. Examples include that TLM2 set with the banana servant, the bananamobile from a Despicable Me 4 set, and the Peely Bone buildable figure from Fortnite. The necessary modifications could be quite substantial, but it’s a good place to start! Quote
aadvik Posted April 27 Posted April 27 (edited) Great gift idea, it's both fun and personalized! If you're a beginner, the easiest way is to start with a stylized banana using yellow curved pieces (like slopes/arches) to create the shape, then add a small brown or green stem to the ends.
