Quick little MOC of Manfred von Richtoven's Fokker Dr. I triplane. The aircraft's red color is striking and makes it work well in Lego form, I think. It's just over 200 pieces and scaled like a Lego plane ought to be. I didn't try to get it scaled perfect, just good enough. I took some inspiration from Adventurers planes and that era of LEGO in general. I think it came out really great.

Looks utterly fantastic! Now all you need is a flying doghouse piloted by a beagle for this to dogfight against!

Now that TLG has the Peanuts license with the ideas Snoopy set, fingers crossed we'll get a Peanuts CMF series like we did with Muppets and Looney Tunes. I want to do a Sopwith Camel in the same scale, but it's almost not worth it without a minifigure of the World War One flying ace!

This idea has a pretty good brick-built Snoopy...

This Fokker has a fun Chibi feel to it. The thick wings and massive front compared to the tiny rudder. Fair winds and clear skies.

Thank you! That's what I was going for, more or less.
