Escort RS1800 was my most liked dream car before few years ago. And of course, wanted to build as lego form.

Originally I wanted bigger scale use 56908 wheel with livery used on 79 monte carlo. but since it was more difficult than expected to create it with that scale and livery, I decided to make a smaller version first.

And because that wheel arch part only available in red currently, I looked up all the red liveries for that car and I chose Colin McRae's version because I liked it the most.

Technical Specifications:

Scale: 1:13.7(According to gemini)

Front wheel steering with removeable HOG.

Rear-Wheel Drive(like real car) with a working Inline-4 engine.

Functional Rear Live Axle suspension.

Openable Features: Hood, both doors, and trunk.

Interior/Details: Detailed engine bay, simple interior, and a spare tire in the trunk.(Wheel only not tire because don't have enough space)

Instruction is already available on rebrickable.

And like I said before, I am planning to release the Escort RS1800 in a total of 4 different scales. This one is second largest version.

Planned model(all scale caculated by gemini using tire size)

1:10.5 technic version. Planned to RC version only.

1:13.7 technic version both static(this one!) and RC.

1:24.6 speed champion version

1:42.1 speed champion polybag version

I’d love to hear your feedback on the chassis design and the bodywork.
