Ngoc Nguyen Posted February 18 Posted February 18 https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1Foc2eEYdm/ @kbalage will finally get what he's always asked for in previous F1 cars. On second thought he probably knows this already since the model was revealed last September. Quote
Timorzelorzworz Posted February 18 Posted February 18 These revelations in front of people are becoming increasingly ridiculous. The 120th F1 model will finally have proper tires in a few years. It will be interesting to see with what devotion this revolution will be celebrated. Quote

SNIPE Posted February 18 Posted February 18 I just realized I could start reverse engineering this set, I have almost everything Quote
Timorzelorzworz Posted February 18 Posted February 18 (edited) Lego are like little monkeys who keep touching the hot stove. A straight steering wheel is unimportant as long the wheels in back are still wrong. No evolution for a price which is unjustifiable. They should have invested in wider tires from the beginning and used them in 5-6models to justify the mould. It's all just one big tragedy now. Edited February 18 by Timorzelorzworz Quote
Ngoc Nguyen Posted February 18 Posted February 18 (edited) Hi everyone, this is another year, another big Technic Formula 1 car from RacingBrick Edited February 18 by Ngoc Nguyen Quote
blondasek Posted February 18 Posted February 18 Well. If you buy the 3rd party tires, model is ok. Maybe for 50-60% of initial price. Otherwise, nothing interesting unfortunately. Speed Champions every 2-3 years with the whole squad in a proper livery for one season is still better choice. Quote
SNIPE Posted February 18 Posted February 18 (edited) progress so far: download I will use 42206 as a donor to align the hard to align parts for the suspension. Some minor collision errors exist around the engine but nothing too serious, I tried fixing it but LDCAD is too stubborn so it was talking up too much time. Edited February 18 by SNIPE Quote

The presenter is the designer, believe me he knew what was going on in the set :) By "special linkage" he meant the placement of the steering rack, but it's difficult to express yourself in front of a room full of excited LEGO needs :) Quote
Amt0571 Posted February 19 Posted February 19 Oh great! Another car, just what I was wishing for. I'm sorry, but at this point, Technic is dead for me. Quote

I could not find any. Quote
Auroralampinen Posted February 20 Author Posted February 20 Sad state of lego technic when the drs is the coolest play feature:(. Quote
Cardboy Posted February 20 Posted February 20 As @kbalage didn't include a look at the part list in there video this time. does anyone know if there are any new parts like the 4.5 axel with stop or is it just the recoloured panels and tyres? Quote
kbalage Posted February 20 Posted February 20 Hmm, weird. Have no idea why I forgot to add it :) The set has no new parts btw, just recolors. Quote
