mattias_bygger Posted January 29 Posted January 29 I'm planning to do instructions for a couple of small size builds (50-100 pieces). There are so many different options for the digital building of the Lego models. Which one would you recommend? Lego Studio 2.0 is a blurry on my 4K screen. Otherwise it seems to be easy enough to use. Bricklink Stud.io? LDD? LeoCAD? LDCad? - Seems difficult to use. MLCad? Mecabricks.com? - Seems to get stuck loading pieces. Quote
1963maniac Posted January 29 Posted January 29 MLCAD is still my choice. I've tried LDCad, LDD, and Studio. LDD has not been supported for many years. I find LDCad difficult. Studio is hard to find and place the parts. Quote
mattias_bygger Posted January 30 Author Posted January 30 Thanks for your input. MLCAD is the only one I haven't had a look at yet! But I will now. Quote

No collision "control" - which means anything considered illegal, because ... some esoteric entity called it that, is readily doable. And everything legal as well, of course. It's old school, sure, but well, so are most washing machines. You know, the type that runs forever. And if not, they can be fixed. Once you got used to MLCAD, builds go really fast. Zerobricks Posted February 1 Posted February 1 I use LDD, which I keep updated form this source: https://www.customlddupdates.com/ I tried other programs but LDD has the most snappy interface and grid system IMO. Quote
mattias_bygger Posted February 2 Author Posted February 2 Thanks for the link. Good to know were the updates are! Quote
