Andri Posted Saturday at 12:49 PM Posted Saturday at 12:49 PM Hello, my son have the lego set 42213, it's the Ford Bronco.... He finished it and now he see that the back wheels are not turning in the same direction... One go front during the other go backwards... And if he pushed it to go in the same direction it's not that easy... We ask ourselves now is it normal? We checked the book and we didn't find any building mistakes... So maybe its just the way it is? We are happy for any help 🙂 Quote
JesseNight Posted Saturday at 10:42 PM Posted Saturday at 10:42 PM Sounds clearly a differential or drivetrain issue, but I'm not familiar with this specific model. You may wanna check the Technic section of the forums if it has any known issues or errors in the instructions, there is a thread about this specific model: Quote
Stereo Posted Saturday at 10:47 PM Posted Saturday at 10:47 PM Turning opposite ways will always be the easiest path, because the differential is open, but it should not take much force to have them go the same way. The usual advice is to check that each axle in the drivetrain has a bit of wiggle room, end to end and rotating - if one of them in particular is stiff, sliding the gears along it small amounts might free it up. I haven't had much experience with the new piston pieces yet but they could also be getting stuck in some way. Quote
