[MOC] Majisto's summer retreat

Majisto, Rowenna (his apprentice) and friend enjoy their time in his summer retreat, where he can study without being disturbed.

Although all the critters and dragons surrounding him cause quite some chaos, at least Rowenna seems to be quietly studying.

Oh, that's cute. 
Are all the roof tiles connected by clips, or did you use knob plates to create that tiles half over each other effect?

Great use of Dan’s (I think he’s the OG of the technique anyway!?) roof! A lot of details without being crammed in a small footprint! Great job!

@GeoBrick only every two rows are connected to clips, the other rows are held in place by the upper side of the clip below and the row above.

@T-86(swebrickLUG) I think you are correct, however I believe those were round tiles, and I tried it with the half round tiles to get a better connection and smoother edge on the clip side.

Yeah, you have a nice result in this one for sure! I’ll have to try it myself in a build in the future!

I love all the landscaping, the transition between beach and rocks and grass with trees is very natural looking. The lamppost is so cool as well!
