I wonder, why are they release 2 different scales of the fast and furious car's at the same time. Last year the jack-o-lantern and the skyline were released on different months. But one hopefull aspect about the mitsubishi is this. The real life counterpart is FWD driven. So because lego didn't reduce the bugatti engine on bolide and 42222. Im really hopefull that mitsubishi will get the same acurate build with FWD and not "cheap box standard" RWD

A Technic October wave has been done before so it might be possible. In 2021, 42128 and 42129 were released in August, while 42126 and 42131 were in October.

Apart from the plastic bag set, there were 22 products in the Technic series the year before last, and 20 last year. However, the number of confirmed product codes this year has already reached 20.

Theoretically, there may not be any new product releases, but after all, the number of products in the Technic series has been increasing year by year.

Set 42232 is an 18+ model. Barring any surprises, it must be a 1:8 scale supercar. That just leaves the other two sets unaccounted for. What’s disappointing is that so far this year, there hasn’t been a single heavy machinery-themed set with over 1,000 pieces released.

Lately I've been losing interest in Technic as everything seems to be repeating the same old cars and nothing else of interest, and these rumours just confirm it. I feel that the Liebherr crane was the last large properly Technic set.

The new 42231 Dodge Charger is larger version of 42111 with 150€ price tag, same 1:10 scale as the 2F2F Nissen Skyline, which is not bad.

Having so many black models in a year is very exceptional - Ford GT, Charger, Batmobil...

Could it be set 42241 or 42242? But one of them has an age rating of 9+ and the other 11+.

Usually, 1:5 scale motorcycles are rated 18+, aren't they?

It will make my job easier, I pre-record a segment with the internals, and only have to comment on the shell :)

It should be a new one following the cycle of previous releases. BUT

- no confirmed 1:8 scale Supercar

- no real summer flagship Set

- no 1:5 Motorcycle?

- no Control+ Car with the new Hub

- no new Helicopter set (which should be after 4 years)

The P1 was released in August, moved from the May schedule of the previous sets. Initial details did not appear until June back then, so there is still plenty of time.

1:8 cars sell like hot rods so I think there will be another one this year. Can't say the same for 1:5 motorbikes though, partly because there aren't that many superbike brands.

1:5 Kawasaki Ninja most likely in lime green. Black and/or purple accents.

Just a matter of time to see a green bike fitting in the series.

This year, there should be a 1:8 supercar, after all, it's updated every two years.

Even years feature supercars, while odd years feature tech flagships.

I miss having both in 2018, but they actually don't conflict

There has to be a 1:8 scale car as 2026 marks the 10th anniversary of UCS Car lineup. Ah, I become nostalgic, the Porsche, the wrong gearbox sequence, the dedumos and jb70 gang here in EB. Good ol days, the 2026 set for sure wont have such amount of buzz, not even a quarter I think!
