Nice solution!

Did you also consider wiring the nasty 6-wire PUp cable to the motor, so that it does turn nicely? Or do you want to go with a 9V motor and custom cable?

I thought about powered up motor, but there was no one in Studio to use so decided to leave 9V in pictures :)

Agree, but to turn it on it requires to remove top cover. Unfortunatelly I can't see any other possible solution without increasing locomotive size.
