My latest addition to my Imperial Fleet, commissioned and built to replace the HMS Fate, which was sadly sunk off the coast by pirates.

My regular method of copying links from Flickr here for pictures doesn't seem to work. I'm guessing this is because of the Forum upgrades a while back?

I don't have a lot to say about this MOC. I've been experimenting with curved slopes for the hulls a bit, especially after the success I had with the Margarite Hamilton merchant ship. I think it worked quite well again in this small vessel.

That's a fine little ship and a great way to use the old classic small hull parts. It's a real inspiration if I ever get around to buying some old small hulls myself. I particularly like the simple, yet intentional, furnishings in the aft cabin.

I love the classic Redcoat colour palette, and this ship utilises it really well. The fence/arch detail on the stern is ingenious, and suits the classic aesthetic too. How'd you make the sails, the pattern looks a good match for the official sails.

That's a nice rendition of a 17th-18th century ship you have there, Elephant Knight. Those side curves around the gundeck look indeed good, and the switch to the captain's cabin is pretty well done.
There's place to hang a sloop on the stern, the imperial flag is quit prominent behind the poop deck, and things seem well-lighted back there. And the figure head is hilarious. :pir-triumph:
Out of curiosity, I recognize a couple of the Imperial sails on the ship, but where does the rest come from?

Thank you, glad you all like it!

The sails are custom made. I had bought some cloth that was a decent match. Then I used a combination of some Gesso, acrylic paint, watered down, and 3 or 4 coats on the cloth. I ended up getting almost a perfect match on my first try. I hope I can replicate it later on when I need to make more sails. I have two other ships built with the same batch, one is a updated old MOC, the other is waiting for a few parts to finish.

Fantastic! Excellent work on the design and the custom sails. I love how it packs a lot of detail into a smaller ship design. It's nicer than my similarly-sized ship, the Geisha.

Do you have pictures of the Geisha?

I really love this kind of small vessels. Always trying to understand how life would be that time on real boats and ships. It must be beautiful and scary at the same time.

Nice job sir Knight.
