Wonder if it'll include a passenger car Seriously hope so! From what it seems it doesn't have any type of power functions included, so it better have a passenger car. It's 90€ for God's Sake! 3 hours ago, Driver Brandon Grumman said: My eyes are on that pizzeria. Mine are on the Freight Train, I'm hooked on trains, especially cargo trains. Not that big of a fan of either classic trains of tram cars in LEGO form but I might grab both. And has anyone else seen the passenger plane? Really nice looking considering it's age rating. Definitely an upgrade compared to 2018's and 2020 Junior Planes. Really impressed by both the Construction Vehicles from this wave, and personally I like the idea of adding more than just the vehicle itself. Gives more life to the overall product. Car Wash is disappointing when it comes to the vehicles, boring and messy designs. And shall I add the fact that these big SC wheels don't fit nicely to City Vehicles at all.(Probably the only one who thinks that) Leak season might run dry for now but it's just a 2 week wait for detailed and HD images to come. For the price I'm assuming it is going to be smth similar to the tram currently on sale, some tracks, instead of the station a crane, a small take along shunting loco, a 2 axle container wagon and a truck (since the tram has 3 coaches, I'm assuming some parts are going to the wagon and some to the truck). 11 hours ago, Driver Brandon Grumman said: You're not the only one who thinks that. I think so too! For trucks and large 4x4s I think they look great (especially the new wheels introduced this year), for light trucks, vans and cars they look to big. The thing is, that's a trend in real modern cars (that I also don't like)... That said, but I'm still an og city guy, 4 wide for cars, 6 wide for trucks. I miss the 4 wide stuff from city so much... I seen a Mould King train motor that you can recharge directly without the need for a hub, maybe it would use something like that only with all studs at the top and no technic pin? Quote

FinlayTheFaithful Posted April 15 Posted April 15 With the summer wave of Ninjago and a few Marvel sets leaking today, we might be lucky to get a few more pictures for City by the end of the week Quote
Dolor Posted April 15 Posted April 15 Well we might. I'm waiting image of Lava Land Amusement Park. Quote

Jb10bo Posted April 16 Posted April 16 I'm a little late to the party reacting to the new construction sets we've seen, but I have to say that 60494 looks really good. The front loader is absolutely amazing. The only thing I think would have made it drastically better is if Lego had recolored 77180/77182 in bright light orange. That would have made the rear of it look much better imo. The front of the dump truck looks great to me, but I'm not sure about the bed just yet. Again, I think more BLO would have improved the look of it. Especially the wheels. 56145 is currently available in BLO. A dark blueish gray recolor would have also been nice on the loader. Speaking of wheels, did anyone else notice the new tire mold in 60480? That very clearly appears to be a DBG recolor of 56904 to me. Overall, I think the backhoe looks great, especially for the price point. And great, I can get another porta john to go with the one from 60409.. City is looking good this year and I'm looking forward to official reveals in the next couple weeks! Quote
FinlayTheFaithful Posted April 16 Posted April 16 I'm thinking of picking up that backhoe, it looks like this years tractor and one of the construction vehicles had a kid, but that might just be me Quote
Shiva Posted April 17 Posted April 17 Ohh, 60480, looks nice! I did not know it existed. 60494 is nice too. Quote
Dolor Posted April 17 Posted April 17 Hey, which one of these are MUST buys? 60409: Mobile Construction Crane 60420: Construction Excavator 60450: Wheel Loader 60466: Bulldozer 60478: Cement Mixer 60467: Tow Truck Quote

Of these sets, the only one I do not have is the 60450 construction wheel loader. I know, this did not really answer your question. Quote

The Bulldozer and the Excavator are both incredible builds, same with the cement mixer, however the mixer will be around for at least another year. The Tow Truck is great if you like both the vehicles, though the tow truck itself is definitely the better of the two that are included. The Tipper Truck is fine, but could've definitely been better. I'm disappointed in the new pizza set. But I adore that steam engine though as it reminds me of the old My Own Train sets. The car wash looks pretty good too. Quote
FinlayTheFaithful Posted April 19 Posted April 19 The port train being the only one not yet revealed implies that they might be doing something special with that one Quote

Powered by Bricks Posted April 19 Posted April 19 (edited) What the hell is that pizza set? The other sets seem nice, the train sets are a bit weird in size and side builds. (horrible prices btw) Let's see if the Cargo Train and Amusement Park look better at least. Edit:Saw the Lava Land Set, only thing I don't like is the fact it's a reskined Robot World. Bet the next'll be Space Police Themed. Edited April 19 by Powered by Bricks Quote
